Fantastic time had by all. Great place for babies, toddlers and older children. Staff were helpful and efficient. Very clean. Our only issue was the amount of people there at one time, very full and still people coming in resulting in no chairs and tables left for parents, grandparents and carers to sit and enjoy food and drink from the cafe. But overall a good experience had by all and we will return when outdoor farm and activities are open too. Thanks for a lovely day out.
Thank you for the review and glad to hear you enjoyed your day!

Best Family farm where animals are loved
Ideal place for family's and friends to have a day out in fresh air and safe environment. Clean and inviting to walk around to play and see animals doing what they do best. Being able to feed treats and bottle feed pet lambs is the best part. The farmers are always welcoming people to ask and watch how they interact with their precious animals who have names and part of their farm family for life. They have supporters all over the world who watch over their animals and love the daily lives on Facebook and be part of the farm. I have come all the way from Cape Town South Africa to see this great family farm. Everything from walking into the reception to the food court and play area to outside rides and games and walk up past animals from small to big to the sheds where the magic is. Meet donkeys, sheep, goats, cows, alpaca and horses including the smallest horse-goat family. You will not be disappointed and will want to go back even more

Brilliant day out for all the family. So worth every penny. Lots to do for kids and cafe brill and such friendly staff.
My favourite bit of the trip to dalscone was feeding the lambs. Also meeting all the animals who you can see are much loved by the farmers. Birdy and Misty Blue were my favourite goats and Zara the donkey and her baby donkey so cute. Met all the farmers Pete, Ben,Joe,Connor and Nanny McPhee. What a wonderful caring bunch they all are and you can see the love and pride they have in their animals.

    Best day out!
Wow, what can I say. I took my granddaughters to this amazing park. From walking in the door to leaving at the end of the day every member of staff was so polite, friendly and courteous. I also found it was definitely disabled friendly. There is so much to see and do here. My granddaughters got the chance to feed lambs and get cuddles. They seen live births. The farm park is so clean, plenty of places to wash and sanitise our hands as well as toilets being clean and well maintained. My granddaughters were so excited to meet Farmers Pete, Ben, Joe, Connor and room service Adam as well as a few others after seeing them on live videoing for the past 2-3 years, it was great to finally meet them all. I highly recommend going here and cannot wait to visit again on the next school holidays. Thank you for a wonderful day.

    Fantastic family day out
Dalscone is a fabulous farm park which is run by the Best family. The family and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. We went as a family and the kids enjoyed themselves so much we went back a few days later. There is a cafe run by Pete’s wife Trisha’s toys, soft play, a toy shop and lots of other activities for the children. Last but not least are the animals which are amazing. You can feed them and pet them. It is an amazing place run by a wonderful family. I’m heading back on 21 April.

Visiting Dalscone Farm was on my wish list, and did not disappoint.
The family run farm shows professionalism and compassion for the animals who live there.
The staff know about their animals and enjoy passing their knowledge onto whoever wants to know.
It is family friendly and caters for needs where possible.
Love this farm and everyone there

The BEST farm my family have ever visited. We made the trip to Dumfries from Hampshire, specifically to visit the farm we’ve been following on Facebook. Our kids loved all the play areas, which are always totally immaculate. The animals are loved and well cared for by the staff, who are so friendly and helpful (my mum uses a walker and the staff ensured she was able to get up the hill to see the animals). They make you feel welcome. The food is gorgeous. Just everything about the farm is perfect!!! I’ve never been to a farm that is as clean as Dalscone is! We can’t wait for our trip back in April next year when we will be making 2 trips to the farm. My mum wishes to spend her 70th birthday at the farm we all adore.

Health reasons prevented a planned visit to Dalscone in 2022 year and so I decided to become a supporter. What a brilliant decision that was, It enabled me to visit virtually on a daily basis, getting to know each individual in the team, their personalities, what a loving, bonded family they are & how passionate they are about all the animals - more so than I wouldhave got on one visit.
I have lived with them the highs & lows of the last 2 years, shared the joy of their successes & will always be grateful that it sustained my mental health through some tough times.
I can't wait to visit the Best family next year & to say hello to all the animals, particularly Black Jack, Queen Miracle, Wonky, Bailey & the Meercats.
It's a brilliant place- visit if you can. If not, visit on line

We are an elderly couple, we had the most wonderful time at this family run farm park. Every member of staff was happy and so helpful. The food and facilities were excellent. The Animals were in fine fettle. The whole place is spotlessly clean. A fabulous toy /gift shop. We met the farmers who took time out to meet us and chat. Well worth the long journey from Surrey. We will be back for longer next year.

My trip to Dalscone Farm was wonderful! The immaculate cafe served delicious breakfast foods and the lunch was yummy too! Be sure to save room for an amazing strawberry tart! The outside play area was busy with a variety of safe, kid-powered entertainment including go-karts, bumper boats, and swings. A large very clean sand box area was a highlight with lots of buckets, shovels, cars and trucks to keep kids happy. The animals in the farm area were well cared for and were easy to see. Even the farm area was kept immaculate and organized. Plenty of restrooms and hand washing stations, too! All of the workers, helpers, farmers, girls in the office and kitchen are so very friendly and helpful. As visitors from Indiana, USA, we were so impressed with this fantastic destination, my friend and I have planned another trip there in May, 2024! Keep up the amazing work you do, Dalscone Farm!
