The whole family can spend hours from feeding the animals, bouncing on the jumping pillows, slides, play barn, straw barn, boating pond, donkey rides, our choochoo express, quad biking and lots of fresh air out in our park area. We have a tearoom for lunch and gift/toy shop to keep the kids happy.

Well worth a visit

What an amazing day out! From being greeted at the car park to leaving we had such an incredible time at this beautiful attraction. Spotlessly clean and such a variety of activities. The staff (especially one of the full time staff, didn’t get his name) were so so friendly. We went with a 5 and 3 year old and it was absolutely perfect for them (and us!) thank you for a wonderful day out

Dirty, Disappointing and Sad
Aug 2021 • Family
As a general rule of thumb, I try to avoid “farm” parks or anywhere that keeps animals for others amusement but we were in the area on holiday, my kids love animals and I had read some good reviews so we decided to give it a go.
Since places have started to re-open, I’ve noticed that a lot of business have used their time in lockdown wisely - giving their places of business a general spruce up and lick of paint etc well definitely not here.
We found Mabie farm park dirty - really dirty and had to raise our concerns to the staff about animals more than once!
There was a pony trapped between two fences, several animals limping, a pig that looked as though it had mastitis and was desperate to leave its young who were crying in hunger and trying to feed from their mum who was clearly miserable, chickens in horrible small coops, no animals looked as though they were cared for and all their homes were smelly and dirty - it broke my heart!
The indoor play area was filthy and there were not many hand washing points around the park
My kids enjoyed the trampolines and bouncing pillows but that’s about all and wish we had just gone to the play park in Mabie forest instead.
We will definitely not be back and would not recommend

Thank you for your review. The pig that you though had mastitis only had 2 piglets in its litter this year which means it produces milk in the udders that the piglets drink from (2 ) the others have dried up. As you suggested the mother pig wants away from her piglets this wouldn't be a good idea as the babies are only 5 weeks old and need milk to survive. The fence where the shetland pony goes behind in a scare fence to keep the bigger horses off the front fence so they don't knock smaller children over and the cheeky little shetland puts its head down and sneaks under so it gets more feed. It can get back out . Our animals are all cared for and we work closely with our local vets. We have hand washing facilities at both ends of the animal barn, one in the court yard, 2 toilet blocks and hand sanitiser all around the park from when you enter the park till you leave. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your visit.

Amazing day out
Aug 2021 • Family
Myself and my two children arrived at the farm at 11am and was greeted at reception by a well mannered man who explained what's on and what they have to offer.
We paid £26 for entry and received two bags of food which I felt was very good price for what we got out the day.

Great Place for kids but if your a carer make sure you have up to date proof of the persons disability!
Aug 2021 • Family
Its a great place for kids, however the staff were not very helpful when we advised we had a carer in our party and we showed a copy of our DLA letter showing valid till 2027 and they stated they couldnt accept it as we need an up to date one???, said we should get an annual one confirming the disability? We have never had an annual letter and when someone is autistic it is not a temporary diagnosis!!! We couldnt be bothered getting into an argument with them so paid for the carer which I dont think is right!!! So people make sure you have all relevent documentation to proove a disability before going here!

Super day out
Aug 2021 • Family
Absolutely brilliant place. Our kiddies are 12, 9 and 7. Hubby hurt his knee so I needed somewhere that would occupy the kiddies with me taking them out alone. This place certainly does that! The activities on offer are awesome. They were never bored. The way everything is set out meant that I could see them if they wanted to go to different areas. The rope swings onto the hay was certainly a favourite of theirs! The animals are all lovely too. Wish we had taken a picnic as the cafe offerings were very basic but definitely a fabulous day out for all of the family. Worth the drive for us, and very reasonable entrance fees.

Not for teenagers
Aug 2021
My children aged 12 & 16 wanted to leave shortly after arriving as the only things they wanted to do, like quad bikes were closed. Probably ideal for young children but not for teenagers.

Great time had by all
Jul 2021 • Family
We weren’t sure what to expect as couldn’t find an awful lot of images online, and not being local didn’t know anyone who had been.
We got there towards lunchtime and there were quite a few cars, but at no point did it seem busy or crowded, with tons of outdoor space and lots and lots to do so everyone was spread out, at no point was there really any queues to do anything and there was a nice selection of animals.
A few things were shut but this wasn’t an issue for us as the kids didn’t do everything anyway as there was just so much choice, we pretty much stayed til closing.

Great place for a family trip
Jul 2021
Great place for a family day out. I went with my grandschildren who are 5 and 12 - it's always hard to find somewhere that they will both enjoy with the age difference but this place is ideal.

They loved the big slides, the train and the bouncy pillows and we all enjoyed feeding the animals.

We had lunch at the cafe which was only doing take away to eat outside. Although quite busy it was well organised and queue wad dealt with quickly.

My only criticism would be to look at improving the animal enclosures/sheds. For example I believe goats like to climb and play and there was no facility for them to do this.
