- Maz78_9Gateshead, United Kingdom67 contributionsA fantastic findWe came here today with a 12 year old and an 8 year old, reviews were good and right! This is a great find. Really good activities to keep the kids entertained and animals were very friendly. We would definitely return if we came back to the area.Visited April 2023Travelled with familyWritten 13 April 2023
- Claire B11 contributionsGreat Farm, great priceWe have been to Mabie every year for the last three years. There is lots to do for young kids and you can easily spend 5/6 hours there so it’s a bargain for the price. This year we fed lambs and calf’s and it really made it magical for our 4 year oldVisited May 2023Travelled with familyWritten 22 May 2023
- Veron M5 contributionsBest day out for all ages!!Best day out!! So much to do. My favourite was bottle feeding a lamb and the Choo Choo Express. The kids especially loved the play barn and tubing down the hill. All included in the entrance fee. The food was fabulous in the tearoom too. The staff are all great, especially the farmer. Lovely guy.Visited May 2023Travelled with familyWritten 30 May 2023
- Holly J B24 contributionsGreat fun for kids and adultsThis is the second time we have visited here and it does not disappoint. Lovely little farm and fantastic outdoor play space for kids and grown ups. The slides are good fun (could be faster ha ha) and the indoor play and hay bales are a fab addition. Plenty space to sit and picnic. We had lunch in the cafe and it was excellent. We are heading back tomorrow as it was such good fun earlier in the week.Visited June 2023Travelled with familyWritten 1 June 2023
- TGM923 contributionsFamily TripExcellent day out, all the staff were lovely. Lots of activities for all ages, we were able to bottle feed the lambs at no additional cost which was amazing and as it wasn't too busy we were able to do this three times. Was surprised to see how big the farm park actually was and how much space there was for little ones to burn off some energy. The cafe had a great selection and was very reasonably priced which was a very welcomed surprise. All in all, a greay day out for all the family and most certainly worth a visit.Visited June 2023Travelled with familyWritten 20 June 2023
- Compass126271888921 contributionMarie farm Park- lovely day outA lovely place to visit with children. We spent almost the whole day here with the children having a great time. Very well kept, clean, and lovely staff. A fabulous place well worth a visit! My little boy left saying he wanted to be a farmer! Thank you so much.Visited July 2023Travelled with familyWritten 3 July 2023
- Anonom1Leeds, United Kingdom27 contributionsGreat day out with family and friends.Having looked at the prices at similar nearby places, as well as the weather forecast, we took the plunge to visit Mabie as it was £15-20 cheaper for our group of 3 adults, a 9 year old and a 23 month old with the added bonus that less rain was forecast here. We received a friendly welcome on arrival and purchased a couple of bags of animal feed which the 9 year old loved feeding to the goats (our toddler barely got a look in.....note to self to keep hold of a bag of feed next time :-) ). A fantastic day out, both kids absolutely loved it. To be honest, so did we as we got to be big kids for the day and rode the go-carts and slides! We didn't even get round to the boating pond (that had closed by 4pm when we thought we would have a go) and missed all the "train" rides because we were having such a good time round the rest of the place. A bonus really, as we have new experiences to look forward to the next time we visit. Great that you can bring your own food etc with you, but the tea room is well stocked and we enjoyed an ice cream and some drinks (very reasonably priced). Overall, the whole place provided great value for money and so we purchased an animal Teddy from the toy/gift shop which we wouldn't have probably done had everything been more expensive.Visited July 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 16 July 2023
- Nicola N2 contributionsWonderful experience, despite the wetThe website for this was a little outdated and did not do the place justice. We went on a wet afternoon as it had some indoor facilities. We discovered it really WAS fun for 'all the family', provided family was fairly fit and game to try things - we asked and were told that everyone could go on everything, so long as children were supervised. A couple in our sixties, with our 2 children and spouses in their thirties and grandchildren aged 7 and 11, we all had a great time. Feeding the animals and the petting zoo were a hit with the 3 youngest members, the rope swings in the straw barn great when it was raining heavily, the pedal go-karts, the pedal boats, the choo choo ride, the doughnut slide (ride down the hillside in large rubber rings) and the cresta run were all brilliant. Lots more things the kids could have played on if it had been drier, and excellent scones in the cafe. Hoping we visit the area again so we can repeat our visit and spend longer there.Visited July 2023Travelled with familyWritten 6 August 2023

Loved the donkeys way too many goats, don't see the attraction of goats. There was calfs, 2 Highland calfs, pigs, alpacas and many more. Toilets were very dirty these need checking and cleaning every so often, too many young children working there! - Simon PWest Kirby, United Kingdom124 contributionsA fantastic day out where nobody will get bored!Brilliant day out with so much to do. The small unassuming entrance hides what an incredible place this is! It is enormous. There is so much to do and kids simply won't get bored! My 4 and 5 year olds love animals and we visit farms where we live but none are like this, or on this scale. The animals appear well loved and looked after really well. They are certainly well fed! The bags of feed on arrival are great but be prepared to be asked to buy more. The fields of fun seem like they never end and there is a huge variety of things. From climbing frames, bouncy pillows, swings, amazing slides, zip lines, make believe gardens and mud kitchens. The tractor ride is hilarious fun and then there's the indoors too. Great climbing frame and ride-on toys in the straw barn with a more traditional rope swing over the bales of straw. Staff were all lovely and friendly and the whole place was just a really great day out. Wish we lived closer as we would be here almost every week!Visited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 26 August 2023

Our 2 year old loved all the different animals - there are loads!
Also lots to keep her busy - she especially loved the trampoline thing on the ground 😂
Indoor and outdoor play parks were enjoyable also - she wasn’t quite old enough for other activities but we would certainly visit again if we happen to be in area in future!!

What an amazing and quaint little place. Definitely worth a visit.
It doesn’t look much but we visited for 5 hours! Which is very rare for my kids who are usually bored after an hour! Feeding the animals is the highlight. We got to sit with a pig and piglet who were so friendly. The donkeys were funny making noise when you didn’t feed them! And the alpacas/llamas looked so menacing but were so gentle.
The weather didn’t put us off either.
Well worth a meal in the cafe. The toasted were lovely.
The highlight was the farm ride!!! A quad pulls modified barrels through a puddle and round the farm! My lad loved it!
If I lived nearer I’d be here all the time!!!! Absolutely lovely place.

The best farm park I have been to so far. Lovely collection of animals and so many activities - our four granddaughters and niece loved it. The café was excellent with friendly service and great food. The well-designed play barn is a godsend on a wet day. If I were local I would come regularly as there is too much to do in one visit.

Brilliant day out for a family with children. Does not look like there is much to do when you first enter but absolutely fabulous park that you will be kept entertained for many hours. Feeding animals (enjoyed by adults as much as children) climbing frames inside and out etc etc etc.

Never saw any Highland cows, but there were young Friesian calves that children can get up close to and pet, along with lots of goats, donkeys, Shetland ponies and so on.

How much does it cost per person?

The main ticket is as above, but if you want to do some of the other activities like the train, the quad bikes and row boats, then theres a further charge, which can really inflate the price for the day. Its a great day out for little ones though.

Hello would this place be ok for two two year olds and a five year old? Seems might be more suited to older children but perhaps that's not the case. :-) thank you

There is a safe play barn for toddlers and swings and small slides. When we went there were kids 2 years up having donkey rides. So yes they will love it. Plenty of small animals for them to feed and see too. Hope this helps.
