I was in there on Saturday and we were looked after brilliantly by the bar staff. Really friendly people and brilliant service. Good location too being right beside the train station. Definitely worth a visit. And thanks for the lift to the game when our taxi didn't turn up :-)…

Spent a week in Dumfries in August 2015.The Waverley was the nearest pub to our B&B and pet friendly.We ate here most nights and the food was good.Great banter with the locals and the quiz nights were good fun.Recommended.The uploader won't allow me to select the correct date.

If you're a traveler stopping in Dumfries, this place is a cool little pub suited for everyone. Seems to be a place where locals and visitors go alike. Good beer, good prices, great little environment. Staff was also super great.

Spent an afternoon here recently watching the football with some friends. A great atmosphere with great service, ok food and very well priced. I will return again and again.
