Excellent rainy day activity for adults and children even the non arty.
Pottery was fired quickly, we painted on Wednesday and our pottery was delivered to us on Friday,
We were looked after very well and having cakes and tea and coffee included made it more of an occasion.
Felt clean and safe, we painted in the marquee, plenty of space

Our second visit here and again had a fantastic time crafting and painting! Great fun and very rewarding, it definitely on our 'have to do' list when we're here.

we booked our visit and looked forward to our afternoon doing what was a new activity for us...We were not disappointed. Amy was efficient ,friendly and very helpful when required ...choose your blank pieces , some coloured clays and off you go, let your imagination run wild ……..All this in the wonderful Galloway countryside little more than a stones throw from the beach... Something different , a great way to spend an afternoon and the experience continues as you eagerly await to see the outcome of your artistic efforts after firing...…..Amy very kindly delivered our pieces and I still use my mug regularly ........thank you very much .

We phoned and got an appointment on the day. Liz was very friendly and helpful when we arrived and showed us around the little studio. Myself, my husband and our 3 year old son all picked a piece of pottery to decorate from a very wide range of lovely pottery ornaments. There really was something for everyone. A very relaxed atmosphere and we all painted our pottery which we left to dry and be put in the kiln, although you can go back in 4 days I believe to collect (but we’ll be home by then), no problem, they wrap in bubble wrap and post it to your or a small postage charge. There’s enough space for a few families to visit at the same time, we were offered free tea and a little bit of cake. We were there for just over an hour and it was great fun. My little boy loved painting his fire engine all sorts of colours. Me and my husband really enjoyed it too, and believe me we’re not the best painters or the most creative! There are some booklets to take inspiration from if you need ideas which was very helpful. A great family activity we all enjoyed and would highly recommend.

Myself and my boyfriend Liam had a great morning at the pottery. The tea and cake were an unexpected treat and the whole experience was relaxed and fun.
It is a perfect activity for anyone and it is in a gorgeous location. We will definitely return!

Had a lovely afternoon with my son painting pottery.
Extremely helpful staff and huge selection of different things to paint.
Can't recommend it enough.

I’ve been visiting mossyard beach pretty much every year since I was born, but only just found this absolute gem!
We had a great afternoon painting our mugs, with a gorgeous view of the bay, free tea and homemade cakes, along with excellent artistic advice from Liz and Amy!
So pleased with how they’ve turned out and can’t thank Amy enough for getting them ready for us to take home at the end of our short holiday.
This will 100% make it onto my list of must-do’s in the local area!

I recently visited the Mossyard Farm Pottery with my husband, son & daughter and we had a great time! We painted our pottery pieces over looking an amazing view... kids really enjoyed themselves. Great range of pieces to choose from & very friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend for children of any age and adults too... will be back soon :-)

Visited this place last week.The setting is beautiful and on a wet day we were keen to find somewhere for the whole family- ages 8 to 69 ! After a warm welcome from Liz and Amy we set about painting our pots Liz gave clear simple instructions and couldn’t do enough to help,it was so much fun and relaxing. Coffee and Choc Brownie cake included ( yum yum)
They really did cater for everyone and we willl certainly return. A big thank you !

A great afternoon at Mossyard Farm Pottery, what a fabulous little place. We were made to feel extremely welcome, a lovely range of pottery to choose from, my eldest son painted a plate and a robin. Liz was brilliant, she was very busy but made time for everybody and even supplied tea and cake! We sat outside and painted with wonderful views of the beach below. A lovely grassy garden for our just one year year old to explore while his brother painted and he loved the cows. Communication with Amy regarding booking and collection has been very efficient, and our pottery will be ready before the end of our holiday. Thank you Mossyard Farm Pottery, keep doing what you are doing, it's fantastic!
