I went along with 2 friends for lunch at the Basecamp Cafe at Laggan Outdoors, the views across Fleet bay were amazing. I had the burger which was good but feel it could be improved with some more flavoursome ingredients like peppers or gherkins. The salad and chips were adequate and the staff were attentive. Laggan Outdoors looked like it... More

We stayed in 'The Shore' one of the snugs at GG's Yard, part of Laggan Outdoor. A snug is like a boutique hotel room - but not in a hotel. It's set in countryside, on the side of a hill, which results in amazing views from the room, from the small terrace seating area and even from the king-size bed.... More

This is the second time that I have visited this cafe. The views are beyond description and the burgers are wonderful. I also would like to praise the waitress working who was coping on her own. She was so calm, pleasant and efficient.

We had a fantastic time at Laggan Outdoors. We stayed in "the ben" snug which was really lovely and cosy with wonderful views. The weather was amazing we also spent an afternoon down at Mossyard, where there are a few beautiful clean sandy beaches. At Laggan we done the off road Segway tour and the zip wire. All the staff... I'm a fan of this area, having stayed in Kirkcudbright a few times. Last weekend I stayed at the local caravan site with my son and a group of friends. We spent Saturday at Laggan Outdoor Centre, all of us booked onto different activities. What a relaxing and fun day out! Between all of us, we tried the clay pigeon... More

Stayed for one night in one of the "Snugs" - what a fantastic place! Had breakfast in the cafe - scrambled eggs on salmon on toast and poached eggs on smoked salmon on toast - delightful. You have to be reasonable fit to move around the centre.

Went with friends and did the zip lining and clay pigeon shooting. The guy that took us for the shooting was great and taught us well as I have never held a gun before. Zip lining was great - have done it abroad before but this was very enjoyable. Would recommend and would love to go back

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 4 year old and 11 months) stayed overnight at The Hive, it was really one of the most beautiful places we've stayed at. Everything from the booking to the check up was incredibly easy and the staff was most helpful and friendly. We also ate twice at the cafe, once for our afternoon tea... More

Myself and my partner stayed in ''The Shore'' snug on Easter Sunday. It's probably one of the nicest / most relaxing places I've ever stayed. The snug was spotless, and the views were unreal. We also done the segways and the zipline which I would highly recommend . Only one thing I would say is that the café shuts a... More
