Lovely old building - bakery. There is a lot of information packed into the various rooms as well as an audio history of the town, from roman time to the present. Lots of items to look at and some you can interact with. Free entry...More

quaint little museum, helful volunteers, with knowledge of local history, no charge for entry just a donation at end of visit, last week they had a Merlin exibition which 10 year old grandson enjoyed, and he got to try a 'heavy' Roman soldiers helmet

This is a tiny museum on the high street in Moffat but it gives an excellent background to the history of the town. With an introductory film and interesting collections, you leave feeling informed, fully aware of context and interested to explore more!
