Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a fabulous , flat , surfaced stretch alongside the mighty river Tay - so suitable for most abilities. It’s also popular with cyclists ( who ring their bell to let you know they’re approaching) joggers and dog-walkers . The ever changing views of the Tay Road & Rail Bridges , and across the water to the kingdom of Fife are mesmerising. There is plenty seating along the route, a choice of waterside cafes and restaurants, and several monuments, murals, memorials and statues to look out for along the way.

Lovely walk along the waterfront. Beautiful views across the water. Can get quite busy at times but still very pleasant. Plenty of seating along the way, and several restaurants/cafés. Runs alongside the main road. Walked the stretch from the Discovery to the airport. Worth a visit if you're in Dundee.

What a brilliant walk this is. You are exposed to all the elements of the riverside walk but it will blow the cobwebs away if there were any there. It’s great for a cycle too so give it a try

A lovely area to take a walk, along the River Tay, or if you want, to just sit and watch the world go by.
