Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We spent some time trying to follow one of the trails but the way markers stopped after a short distance and we made our own way back. Lots of paths were impassable due to flooding. The play park was fab but the weather had turned by the time we got to it so we did not get chance for our little one to play. The toilets were fine to use but did have some pretty offensive stickers suck all about the women’s toilets. I’m sure on a better weather day our visit would have been much more enjoyable.

Very disappointed.
The zoo feels very neglected. Weeds growing high in lots of areas. Empty enclosures with no explanation why. I felt sorry for some of the animals, as vegetation was taking over. What has happened? I visited a couple of years ago & it was great. So sad.
We visited the restaurant & it was very expensive for very basic food. My granddaughter chose a hot chocolate with cream & marshmallows & it cost over £5!! Crazy.
I hate leaving negative feedback.

Nice place to go for a walk, also has a nice play park if you have any children or need to run off some energy.

Our extended family of 6 adults and 5 children ranging from 10 to 6 years old enjoyed an afternoon here in August.

There's plenty of play park options for all ages here and it didn't feel overly busy. We headed to the back where there was a grassy area so we could have a our picnic and kids could play football, frisbee and catch.

Great facilities with toilets and a kiosk selling ice lollies. However, they could do with more picnic benches.

We've previously been to the zoo but skipped it this time as it was nice sunny day and kids happy to just play.

Overall, this is a great park with lots to do. Enjoy!

Beautiful parkland with some really stunning trees. Lovely walks through the woodland and plenty of picnic tables available. There's also a lot of open grass areas for children to run about and picnic on a blanket.

A really good play park something for different ages of kids. The park has tenis courts which we saw kids play football tennis in. A very big park with lots if space to run about the wildlife centre has a great restaurant and the centre is good to visit for the animals although the enclosures look too small in some areas. Worth a visit.

Gre up visiting this park. Lovely big spacious park. Would love to see a small cafe or similar. Was in the White House when I was young. This building needs action

This used to be a lovely place to walk, kick a ball about with kids
Now a weed infested mess with the disused golf course left to go wild.
The big house which used to have nice lawns and some flower beds around is being left to go derelict by the council as they use every last penny they have to prop up the water front development. This is why the whole of Dundee an overgrown mess. Add to that a sprinkling of litter that lies there indefinitely, petrol heads rallying around at night. Just a mess

Camperdown Park is the largest public park in Dundee covering an area of more than 400 acres. It’s name originates from the victorious 1797 battle of Camperdown, which was won by the British under Dundonian Admiral Adam Duncan , who was rewarded handsomely for his leadership. His son and heir used the money to build splendid neoclassical Camperdown House in 1828, which is owned by the council, and although closed to the public seems to be undergoing renovation at present.
The park has numerous scenic trails to follow, sporting a fabulous collection of over 190 varieties of trees. There’s a popular children’s play park, a duck pond, several parking bays, and of course the Wildlife Centre with it’s cafe. It’s altogether a lovely place to visit and walk in natural surroundings at any time of year - but the colours are especially spectacular in the autumn.
