Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Another 5 star review for Invisible Cities Tours. They accommodated 50 of us who were in Edinburgh for a Fair Trade conference. We split into two groups and each had a slightly different tour, both of which were excellent and very engaging. On our conference feedback forms, many mentioned that the Invisible Tour was a highlight. It was good to have an alternative view of the city and we would highly recommend these tours to anyone.

We worked twice with Invisible Cities as Westminster Business School both in April and May 2024. We had two tours with Jason, Sunny and Paul. All had amazing stories to share and we admired how they levelled up their game in life, Sunny's story is now part of a book (Paying it Forward by B. Geldof). More than anything we really loved the synthesis, content and process of the tours. Students were enthusiastic and we used lots of info to run a pub quiz. I was amazed to see that due to the engaging tours they remembered all the info ! Another thing I need to mention is that Zakia (the manager) was of amazing support and with great organisation skills that made it all so easy for us. We also like to really thank Paul Stewart for the castle tour today, all students had a blast, learning and enjoying. Really a Great ''Thank You'' to all.

Fascinating and very well done. Our guide was Jason and he did a wonderful job telling us about the history of what we were seeing.

We had an interesting tour of Glasgow.
We had wished for a native speaker - and we got that - It was maybe a bit more that our skills could live up to. We actually had a very har time understanding the tour guide. She was very friendly, laughed a lot and told about many things but it was difficult to understand - and we are quite good at understanding people with dialect.
But this was a linguistic challenge :-)

My friends and I did the Leith walking tour. We loved it! Dakota gave a very entertaining and informative tour, accompanied by the very lovely dog Riley. I live in Leith and all was new info to me!

Sonny really knew his stuff and regaled us with the drama and detail of the good and the bad of Edinburgh .
He also gave us an insight to the help available to the homeless and took us through his journey to get off the streets .

My wife and I can definitely recommend this tour. :) The cause is very charitable and the knowledge about the history and especially some of the memorable women of past days is entertaining to hear whilst traversing this beautiful city.
The guide was very kind and informed, even though some of our more curious questions digging for more details could not get answered. For all dog owners, it was also no problem to take our dog along with us on the tour.

Very glad we did this tour of Leith. The tour introduced us to aspects of Leith which we did not previously know about and the experience was made all the more interesting by our very personable, knowledgeable and engaging guide, Dakota.

Great tour around the Royal Mile - taking us to off the beaten track places. We learnt so many interesting facts about some of Edinburghs notorious characters.

Love the social enterprise aspect of this tour and would urge anyone visiting Edinburgh to look them up!
