We offer private tours -usually one day- that take in the popular places you’ve all heard about. Scenic Tours with a little bit of history are our main focus but we can offer a little twist on these – see our theme tours. Nothing is fixed so we can go wherever you want. However, all of the following are a must see Glencoe, Stirling Castle, Linlithgow Palace, Loch Ness and much in between

Brian is amazing. We did a 7 day tour and he recommended hotels that we ended up loving, constructed a fantastic itinerary, was flexible when we changed it a bit, and was informative and entertaining. I highly recommend him and will contact him again when we come back!

We had a 3 day tour leaving early January from Edinburgh. As a family with kids 10 and 13 we were looking forward to seeing Harry Potter and Outlander scenary as well as Scottish history. Brian is a fantastic tour leader and host and was amazing with the kids and great to chat to. We saw all the sites we wanted to see and were very happy with the overall tour. I would highly recommend this!

This two day tour of the Highlands was the highlight of our trip to Scotland! Brian was the key to making this a wonderful experience! We spent two full days visiting so many amazing places along the way, including stops for lunch and coffee, a whiskey tasting, and lots of photos ( which Brian was eager to take of us!). His knowledge of Scottish history and interesting anecdotes along with his cheerful personality made this tour so enjoyable. I highly recommend Brian and Wynding Road Tours!

Brian was our tour guide for 4 days of the Scottish Highlands. He was incredible! I reccomend him so highly! Not only is he personable, but he is so knowledgeable about Scotland's history. I knew nothing about Scotland when our daughter and her friends booked this trip. He gave us so much information, I wish I had written it down. In fact, he explained who James was and how he came to write the King James Bible, that is still used today. He overheard us talking about Monty Python and next thing we knew, we were headed to Castle Doune whhere hte movie was filmed. He took pictures of us, took us on winding roads that none of us could have driven, made us laugh and made us reflect. The only thing that I would say is if one is an "on time" sort of individual, then Brian is not for you. We did miss our ferry, but then Brian drove us to more sites. I highly recommend him! There were 7 of us ranging in age from 72-35 and we all thoroughly enjoyed him. And he gave us time to shop!!! I regret I don't have a photo to upload but if you go to Brian's Instangram, there are plenty! He was well worth the money!!!

I can’t recommend Brian and Wynding Road Tours highly enough. We did a two day tour, looping from Edinburgh to an overnight stay in Inverness, then back to Edinburgh. We went to Balmoral, Stirling Castle, Clara Cairns, Culloden, Loch Ness, Glencoe, the Kelpies, Doune Castle (site of my favorite Monty Python film), saw the Wallace monument, had a close friendly encounter with highland hairy coos, and stopped for breaks and shopping whenever a village caught our eye. Brian was knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. I learned a lot of history from his commentary and thoroughly enjoyed the anecdotes he shared with us. I’ve done 6 trips to various countries in Europe and this is the best travel $$$ I’ve ever spent. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Brian gave us a fabulous two day driving tour of Scotland. He had lots of great information and stories to tell us about Scotland. I would highly recommend him as he was fun and polite!

We can’t say enough good things about our two trips with Brian! He made it possible for our large family group (ages 1 to 75) to see and experience some of Scotland’s most memorable sites as a family. We have several small children, and Brian was exceptionally patient, kind, flexible, and fun. He even arranged a birthday cake at a distillery for my father in law’s 75th birthday! Brian really felt more like a member of the family than a tour guide, and we can’t recommend him enough. Thanks, Brian!

We are family of 4 chose Brian by friends recommendations and we were really happy to have an individual Grand Tour Scotland Tour with him.
Brian is an amazing guide ! It was the best holiday in our lives, well organized and full of activities. We definitely will come with Brian to our next big trip. Very much recommended!

If you haven’t settled on a private driver yet, look no further than Brian. He’s definitely your guy! He’s very professional and knowledgeable about all things Scotland. He never made us feel rushed and willingly tailored our day around a variety of interests. You will not be disappointed in booking Brian. Thanks again for an unforgettable day!

I am traveling to Newcastle upon Tyne with my 65 years old mom.I will be staying there for a month of Feb-March. I want to plan a short trip (4-5 days max) from Newcastle - Edinburgh- Any one or two places like, Pitlochry/Fife/Oban/Aveimore/....- Newcastle.
Any advice or suggestions please?
