We were met by Reece who was very welcoming, cheerful, funny and friendly and explained everything really well. The Alice Escape Room was itself really well thought out. Minor complaint, it was really hot in the room but Reece did bring us a mini fan which helped a bit.

I have never been to an escape room before, I have played of similar videogames, but I don't think you can beat the real thing! The experience was amazing, fun, and engaging! We were 4 people including me, welcomed by the gamemaster "Mad" Kyle, whose impersonation and acting skills really surprised me, he was spot on and a really nice guy for what I could tell. The game per se was fantastic, nothing to improve in my opinion, maybe for "Mad" Kyle I would suggest to raise his voice just a bit and slow down a little when explaining the rules of the game prior entering the room. I am a foreigner, and albeit I have a strong command of the language, I also suffer from tinnitus and most of what he said during the explanation eluded me. Let's say that soft spoken and fast speech is not a great combination for everyone! Not a bad critic, just a tip to improve accessibility for everyone! ;) Nice job, "Mad" Kyle!

I booked Escape Hunt with a group of my friends as a little birthday treat for myself and a fun excursion for my friends. I was very impressed by the experience from the enthusiastic host, thematic and immersive room and intuitive, tactile puzzles. Like any escape room, it can be a little tough/slow to start but, once you get into the mindset, it really does excel in what it does. We completed the 4th Samurai challenge and, while a very solid experience, it does suffer slightly in a few ways. First, we were a group of 5 and one of the initial puzzles could only be completed by one person leaving the others to either speculate or stand around doing nothing. Obviously I wouldn't spoil any solutions, but the room could benefit from more simultaneous activities or requirements of multiple inputs for one solution. These do exist in the puzzle but it might benefit from more. As such, I'd recommend limiting your party to about 4 if you're worried about people being left with nothing to do at certain stages. Obviously, your mileage may vary but the staff on hand are incredibly helpful in providing necessary hints and tips throughout your experience. There are a number of different rooms to choose from themed to different concepts, one of which I'm sure you'll enjoy. My compliments to our host Artemis who, upon learning it was my birthday, gave me a very nicely, and thematically relevant, written birthday card following completion. It really made my day! Definitely recommended. Lots of fun with friends. Will be back for more really soon!

First time ever doing an escape room and will definitely be back! Daniel was a great guide and provided a good time with lots of fun and helped create an authentic experience! 10/10!

My partner and I went as a last minute thing. We were grateful they could take a last minute NHS couple for ATLANTIS!! Greeted by our host Daniel who really sold the experience. We have done a few rooms before at different venues but have to say escape hunt wins our vote. Would definitely recommend and Daniel shows a lot of enthusiasm and passion for his job. Rainy afternoon in edinburgh and my 12 year old suggested this, never having done it before. We completed the Alice in Puzzleland. It was amazing! We have certainly been bitten by the escape room bug! Our games master helped out where needed such that we had 7 seconds left when we completed it! Great fun highly recommended!

Amazing! Went as part of a hen party, split into two teams - the other team went to the Alice in Puzzleland, which sounded amazing when they were telling us later on. My team which included the bride to be, went into the Journey to Atlantis. From start until we solved it, it was great. Most of the puzzles were solved by fluke which made it even better. Best of all the bride to be had a great time. Will definitely try to make it back to try the other games.

We went as a group of 13 for a work event - we had different 3 rooms booked and everyone had a great time! Amina and Kyle were excellent hosts and looked after us well - very friendly and welcoming! As a group all 3 rooms received good feedback, and from a personal perspective I found the room I was in to be more interesting and interactive than others I have been to in Edinburgh. Will be back!

Came along today for my partners birthday and had a brilliant time playing the pirate room. The room was really good fun and we both had a great time. The real highlight of the show was Daniel. He is such a fun and awesome host. Very engaging and very fun! If I could have Daniel host all my future rooms, I definitely would! Cheers for the great time :D.

The 4th Samurai escape hunt completed only just in time!! Our host Kyle was great at explaining everything before we went in and gave us a few tips once we were in the room when we couldn’t see the obvious answer. Really great experience would definitely recommend.
