Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Mercedes García ViajaEscocia company guide is excellent.
Highly professional, very dedicated to and with great knowledge of the places we visited as well as illustrating many landscapes in the history of Scotland.
The trip was by car for three hours driving and the entire time he kept us very entertained and attentive.
All the guides in the world should be like Mercedes.
We recommend it 150%

The ghost tour in Edinburgh with David was an amazing experience. His deep knowledge of local history, combined with his ability to tell immersive stories, made each stop fascinating and spooky. David managed to keep us intrigued with ghost stories, tragedies and mysteries, all set in the darkest corners of the city. His interaction with the group was excellent, answering questions and adding details that enriched the tour. Visits to the underground vaults and alleyways provided a unique atmosphere. I recommend this tour for those looking to explore the darker side of Edinburgh

Exploring Edinburgh with Echeden, better known as "El Canario", is like uncorking a bottle of champagne full of bubbly stories and curiosities. This Guide has the gift of weaving the city’s rich historical upholstery with such infectious enthusiasm that even the gloomiest gargoyles on the Royal Mile might feel like joining the conversation.

From the outset, "El Canario" transformed our ride into an intriguing adventure, revealing secrets and anecdotes that you won't find in the pages of an ordinary Tour Guide. His stories brought to life the stones beneath our feet and the ancient buildings around us, making us feel as if we were discovering the city for the first time.

It wasn’t just laughter—although there was humor subtly woven into his words—but rather a deep appreciation for the mysteries and wonders of Edinburgh. Each story he shared was a window into a vibrant past, told with a clarity that only someone with a true passion for his city could offer.

I highly recommend this tour with "El Canario" if you are looking for an experience that makes you think, smile and wonder. Not only will you learn about the history of Edinburgh, but you will do so in a way that makes you feel part of that history. A true delight for anyone looking to explore the city with curious eyes and a heart ready to be captivated.

We got the Juan Manuel Guide,
And I don't recommend it for nothing, we paid £15 for the tour x person, where they are supposed to explain monuments and facts about Edinburgh
None of that!! He spent most of his time talking about philosophy and rambling as an example “if man is evil by nature..”
past approx. 50 min, 4 people left the tour, (there were 13 of us) did not realize or even ask where they were!! ????
And my husband, please asked you to focus on the tour, which he ignored and followed up with his speech... to talk a lot and not explain anything!!
At the time we decided to leave too, as we saw that it would not improve, (he kept 7)
I do not recommend it for anything!!
I am still waiting for you to send me the link to review the tour!!
Conclusion!!! wasted time and we had to hire another guided tour!!

We have done the guided tour of Edinburgh with Marta Dominguez (La Sevillana) and it has been a super exciting experience.

It has all the knowledge necessary to make the visit a cultural, tourist and exciting experience. Visit the most important points of the city, tell you the stories with incredible ease and make the cold and rain do not matter.

They are 3h tour that fly by!!

Of note, Bobbi's story, Maggie Dickson's story and the story of the 7 women, is a "must" that she includes in the tour and that you can not miss.

Today I did the ghost and witch tour with Raquel. It was very interesting but at the same time enjoyable because of the way he explained everything. We have also visited some important points of the city, and it has left us on Calton Hill, with beautiful views of the sunset as well as being a place that must be seen in Edinburgh.

Wonderful day discovering Hadrian's Wall and the Scottish
Borders: Thank you very much especially to the wonderful Sandra, a passionate and amazing Guide.

I highly recommend Travelling around Scotland for a very fair price considering the value of the experience. Thank you so much!

Great tour with our guide Aleix!
It has been a very enjoyable and varied tour: the history of the city of Edinburgh, providing curious facts about J.K Rolling and Harry Potter, giving mysterious and ghostly touches, and endless content that will make your visit to the city complete.
I definitely recommend this company because it has guides who know and transmit very good information about Edinburgh (in my case).

Thanks Aleix! It's been a great experience.

Last week, at the EOI in Santa Cruz de Tenerife we organized a study trip to Scotland and we had the pleasure of meeting Viajar por Scotia, a tour operator collaborating with AMMA NATUA. Traveling through Scotland adapted perfectly to our specific needs, and far exceeded our expectations. Their ability to organize a complete itinerary that included all our wishes and requirements was simply admirable.

During our trip, we had the privilege of exploring some of Scotland's most iconic locations with exceptional guides who truly made our experience unforgettable. From the exciting excursion to Loch Ness and the stunning Glencoe Valley with Jose, to immersing ourselves in the world of Outlander with Sergio, exploring the mysteries of Edinburgh with Alexander and discovering the fascinating history of Edinburgh Old Town and Castle with David, each experience was unique and enriching.

We made two visits with Travel in Scotland. We started with the free tour with Marta la Sevillana, her energy and love for the city is contagious and we learned a lot. We liked it so much that the next day we did the ghost tour with Angel (another 10), perfect to get to know the city and culture differently. The routes are fantastic and the passion of the guides is felt from the first moment. We will recommend it to friends who come without hesitation. Thank you Angel and Marta for showing you your Edinburgh.

*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
