In a nutshell, the whole trip was a six out of five. Everything went exactly according to plan and all hotels and restaurants were fabulous. Gary, our fabulous driver, was a stupendous guide with his knowledge, flexibility, kindness, humor and the way he would anticipate and change the itinerary according to the weather. He was a real walking encyclopedia and just as importantly, an excellent driver!
Everything was a highlight, but the highlight of the highlights was Edinburgh, Saint Andrews. Highland night, Cawdor Castle, Eileen Donan Castle, Portree. Our favorite hotels were the Fonab Castle hotel, the Cuillin Hills and the Isle of Ericka Hotel. Concerning the guides, Fiona and Gordon were very knowledgeable and pleasant.
And many, many thanks for your glasses of champagne to celebrate Martine’s birthday at Cromlix, a very thoughtful gesture, it was most appreciated.
Altogether, a memorable trip that was very well planned and executed. We have already and will continue to recommend Luxury Scotland Tours. When we plan our Scotland golf trip, we will of course ask you to organize this for us.

We contacted Luxury Scotland Tours to plan a holiday for our family of four adults, and they responded with a brilliant itinerary to explore the Highlands, Orkney and Edinburgh. Struan and Florence asked what we'd like to see and experience, then put together a fabulous roadmap to see castles, abbeys, mountains, beautiful lochs, archaeological sites and ancient standing stones. Oh, and a whisky distillery! The van was very roomy and comfortable. The lodging at each stop was exceptional, with fine restaurants and amenities. The itinerary was flexible, as we opted to change our route along the way to see other sites of interest.
Our driver, Alan, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. By the end of the trip, we had adopted him as family.
Luxury Scotland Tours provides expert planning, excellent services and communication. The best recommendation we can give is that we did not want the tour to end!

Two couples traveled from Canada to Scotland for 10 days and took a private driver tour with Luxury Tours. Florence organized a very detailed itinerary for us. She tailored the trip to our needs and abilities. Brian was our amazing driver. Brian was professional, knowledgeable and fun. Taking a private tour was the best choice as it afforded us the flexibility and comfort to do and see what we wanted, even though some of the excursions were prebooked. The hotels and sites were amazing. I would highly recommend taking a private tour and I would highly recommend Luxury Tours. We were not disappointed and our first trip to Scotland was outstanding and will be fondly remembered for years to come!!

First, everyone at Luxury Scotland Tours exceeded expectations. Alan put together a fantast itinerary, was flexible and adjust things just for us, and fixed things for us on the fly. We didn't have a great meal one night so he cancelled the second night and gave us three new option. Our driver Scott, who Alan arranged for us, was a blast. He was so much fun and knew so much about the Scotland... from landmarks, to politics to how the financial markets work. Everything about what Luxury Scotland Tours did for us was excellent.

Michelle designed our 15 day family private tours of Scotland and Ireland. The tours included additional visits to St Andrews Scotland, sheep dog demonstration and Dingle Ireland. Michelle made changes as necessary to include all our requirements and her selection of 5 star hotels was excellent which included a mix of castle accommodation and traditional accommodation. Michelle took note of what we wanted and designed an excellent tour.
We were very fortunate to have Florence was our tour coordinator She arranged every aspect of our tours including hotel arrangements, including upgrades, dinner reservations, airport transfers and she allocated excellent driver/guides for our tours.
We were very pleased with every aspect of the tours. Thank you Florence for all your hard work you did for us. This was a once in a life time trip for us and made very special by you and Michelle.
A big thank you to our drivers/ tour guides Ross in Scotland and Paul in Ireland. They were very knowledgeable and provided great insights to the history of the countries. They were very helpful and they made the tours very interesting. Great talking to Paul about football and hurling. He is a great tour driver/ guide.
We would highly recommend Luxury Scotland Tours for any tours of Scotland and Ireland. They are a very professional company that definitely puts customer satisfaction first . The tours are of very high quality and very well arranged and coordinated. The staff are excellent and easy to deal with.

Gordon and his modified boat trip on Loch Ness Scotland, Dingle, whiskies and Guinness Experiences, Culloden Battlefields, scenery and friendly local people.

We had a wonderful trip to Scotland with Luxury Scotland Tours. We are experienced travelers, and we had a great time in the English lake country on our last pre-Covid trip; however, this was our first visit to Scotland. In planning the trip, we had a number of conversations with Struan and Florence, both of whom listened to our desires and concerns and flexibly responded to our requests. The process led to a flawless trip, replete with hikes, castle visits, city tours, great lodging and first-class meals. In addition, our driver Neal was professional and prompt and had an encyclopedic knowledge of all things Scottish and all the sites and locales we visited. His enthusiasm and warmth added considerably to a thoroughly enjoyable visit. I would recommend Luxury Tours Scotland without reservation and wish any future traveler to Scotland as well planned, executed and enjoyable a trip as we had.

Trip of a Lifetime!
We are 8 long time golf friends who had the most wonderful experience of touring Scotland and playing golf at St. Andrews, Gullane, Castle Stuart, Kingsbarns, and Gleneagles for 12 days on a luxury tour created for us by Luxury Scotland Tours. We did not have to plan or do anything but enjoy the trip. Luxury Scotland Tours did it all in style. We give Luxury Scotland Tours greater than 5 stars, 5 stars+, it was truly the best trip we have all experienced. The Mercedes Van was beyond comfortable with snacks and drinks always available, and our drivers, David and Neil, were wonderfully engaging, engaging, and just fun to be with. The lodging was first class with completely comfort and all of our needs taken care. The restaurants recommended by Luxury Scotland Tours were impeccable, incredible food and service, and always walking distance to our hotel. In addition to planning everything our golf days, Luxury Scotland Tours planned a very informative and enjoyable excursions such as a personally guided walking tour Edinburgh, tours of castles, cathedrals, distilleries, a private tasting with Iain Burnett, a renowned chocolatier, a private cruise with Gordon on the Loch Ness, shopping areas, and the list goes on. Luxury Scotland Tours’ attention to detail for the enjoyment of their clients cannot be overstated. It was truly the trip of a lifetime for all of us. Florence and the team at Luxury Scotland tours helped us put together a fabulous 10-day trip through the Scottish Highlands and in Edinburgh. Our driver, Gary, was excellent, and helped guide us expertly through our plans, and even suggesting additional sites that we thoroughly enjoyed. We were thrilled with our accommodations and restaurant selections, and enjoyed touring Lochs, Castles, Highlands and Whisky Distilleries. We ended our tour in Edinburgh with the city walking tour and Military Tattoo, which was a bucket list item. This was a trip well planned!

Our family absolutely had the most incredible experience in Scotland and with our booking experience with Luxury Scotland Tours! From the prompt responses I received with the initial inquiry, to all of the details regarding travel logistics, and certainly the personal touches that Florence helped arrange during our trip, our expectations for a travel company were exceeded time and again. The itinerary was full of amazing and well-organized programs, reservations, and beautiful lodging. Our driver, Scott, quickly became like another member of our family and ensured that all of our travel needs were met safely, professionally, and with lots of fun! Nearly all of our bucket list sites and experiences were able to be completed in this two week adventure and we came up with another list for the next trip when we return. The experience with this company was absolutely five-star and we have already recommended them to several of our friends and family. We will absolutely use them to arrange our future trips in the UK without hesitation.

Amy organised the perfect 10 day self drive tour of the Scottish Highlands that was tailored to our needs. Everything went exactly to plan. Every person that we interacted with as part of the tour was fantastic from Russell who delivered the hire car through to all hotel staff. Amy booked all hotels and all meal reservations for us.
All 5 hotels we stayed at were really excellent but Culloden House was a standout with amazing staff and we recommend that you consider upgrading to a suite rather than a standard room. Allow time to explore the grounds at The Torridon. The Ness Walk Hotel was also excellent with fantastic service.
The scenery was amazing especially on the Isle of Sky and on the drive between Gairloch and the Applecross Peninsula. We took more than 1,000 photographs across the 10 days. The Fairy Glen was very scenic and a very easy walk. The Fairy Pools were excellent and also an easy walk with well defined paths but a bit crowded. We recommend doing the full loop walk at the Quiraing even though it is a bit challenging and does take nearly 3 hours to complete. The views are amazing. The Old Man of Storr was quite busy but also worth the steep uphill walk. The views from the Fyrish Monument were fantastic and well worth the walk up the steep but well defined and maintained path.
Victoria falls and the Falls of Shin were the two standout water falls and were not too busy when we visited following heavy rain. We all cheered for the Salmon that were leaping up the Falls of Shin.
Cawdor Castle and Dunrobin Castle were both excellent but Eilean Donan Castle did not meet our high expectations in terms of the room displays and it was very busy.
We enjoyed so many great meals but especially enjoyed dinner at Culloden House and at the Ness Walk Hotel. We also enjoyed the more basic dinner at the Coach House in Dornoch and enjoyed lunch at Cawdor Tavern, The Claunie Bar and Kitchen and had great fish and chips at the Shieldaig Bar & Coastal Kitchen.
We were underwhelmed by the "Wee Hoose" but maybe had the wrong expectations.
We certainly recommend booking your Scottish Highland Tour with Luxury Scotland Tours.
