Read 3 accounts of Cramond in books I own, so I finally went here. Took the Stage Coach Queensferry bus from the west end of Princes St to just before the modern River Almond bridge. Walked north-east along the river path - popular with couples...More

Really nice place within Edinburgh with the feelings like you far away of the city. And dont forget to visit Cramond Inn with the great selection of beers and nice pub food.

A photographers dream. Remnants from the world wars and skies that take your breath away. The pyramids that make up the causeway glow with colour. Dragon's teeth I believe they are called. Good hike.

Sharon, it's perfect for dogs! Lots of folks were there with their dogs on the beach and playing. I got some great pics of the pups.
