The Johnnie Walker on Princes street is an absolute must whether you love whisky or not. Try one of the JW journey experiences and you will come to appreciate JW even if you don’t care for whisky. But I believe you will find something you like. :) And if nothing else, the view from the rooftop bar is one of the best in the city. I highly recommend making reservations for the rooftop bar.

This is an amazing experience. The tour is so well done and informative and interactive. Colin our tour guide was beyond awesome (even though the poor lad had a cold). This was the best liqour manufacturer tour I’ve ever done.

The whole experience was brilliant and I would recommend it even to people who never tried whisky before as well as to those who have been very engaged into it for years. It is a tailored and very Immersive experience with theatrical elements. Collin was a great host and ensured all of us had great time. He made special effort to get to know us better as well. The experience guide us through the story of Johnny Walker, the main ideas and values behind it and really highlight that whisky should be drunk the way you like. After the experience, I head to the 1820 bar which has an amazing view over the city and the castle. Fowwaz Was a great and knowledgeable bartender. Thank you so much for making my visit so awesome.

We visited Johnnie Walker, Princes Street following a recommendation from a friend. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Our guide and presentations were done by Thomas and Nicola. They really brought the whole thing to life. The cocktails were great too! Well worth a visit.

Amazing unique experience even for the non whisky drinkers. They may even be converted. From beginning to end it was a knowledgeable insight into Johnnie Walker whisky. Book the rooftop bar afterwards.

Amazing experience. A warm welcome straight away from walking into the building. Helpful and courteous staff guide you through the beautiful building which is immaculately kept. Our guide Alice was excellent, very knowledgeable and her presentation skills were incredible. The storytelling by her colleague Russell was one of the highlights of the tour. The theatrics and visual effects were unexpected but captivating. The various tasting rooms were sublime and I cannot compliment or recommend this experience enough. Afterwards we had lunch and a drink in the rooftop bar. Another stunning setting with the best views in Edinburgh. Amazing experience overall.

Great day out in Edinburgh including The Johnnie Walker experience which was the highlight. Professional, polished tour which entertained as well as informed. The use of audio visuals was amazing. Special mention for Thomas. Brilliant!

This was a supreme experience. The whole tour and ethos of this was fantastic The tour is very well put together and all your staff are very enthusiastic, knowledgeable and very good at what they do. Our tour guide was only working here for 3 months and was all of the above and more. The technology is amazing from the drink dispensers, to the graphics and interactivety with the tour guides. The whisky, by the way was fantastic and a big surprise having previously drunk lots of blended and single malts over the years. The building us amazing and very well rebuilt. The presentation technology was impressive. Thomas, our guide, was delightful and Amiee did a great job with the presentation. We thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it and highly recommended it to several people already. One of our highlights in Edinburgh

This is a little late as we went on the tour in August of 2023, but didn't want to forget. Thomas was our tour guide and it was only his second day on the job and he totally crushed it. He was able to answer all of our questions thoroughly and thoughtfully and we were so impressed with his ability to memorize everything while staying on cue with the music and other voices. We'd highly recommend people to go to this tour, but especially recommend they get Thomas as their guide. He was a warm welcome to Edinburgh and we also loved his self-deprecating English humor.
