Canaletto’s 12 paintings of the Grand Canal at Venice, alone justifies a visit. The audio device makes the tour very interesting. Can be accessed by all 3 bus lines.

We took the option for tickets for Holyrood house and the queen’s Gallery. I feel it was a waste of money and would suggest just going into the palace as it also has beautiful art in it

Opposite the parliament at Holyrood. We went to see the display of photographs taken at the Crimea. I must say we spent a lot more time there than we thought we would. Well worth a visit.

There is a gift shop attached to the Queen's gallery which should have a guidebook. There are a number of books available via Amazon Hope this is a help Tricia
