Happened upon this bar for pre dinner drinks whilst staying in the Stockbridge area. Very glad we did, the place had a relaxed and friendly ambience, great music, delicious cocktails and knowledgeable enthusiastic staff. Reasonable prices too, a wee gem.

Went with my boyfriend midweek after reading the tremendous Trip Advisor reviews and it certainly didn't disappoint! The bar was very small and mainly lit by candle, which made for an extremely cozy setting. We sat by the fireplace in great big armchairs and had...More

What a great place, small, cosy, and with a wonderful atmosphere. Delicious cocktails too! Definitely worth a visit. We were a group of 8, but there are some lovely cosy areas for couples! Great find.

Lovely place with real charm. There was a good selection of drinks including a cocktail menu offering something a bit different. Worth a visit if you're in this neck of the woods.

Great place, yummy cocktails and the kindest service in all of their sister bars. Had the Breakeven Bottle with a Highland Rouge.

small wonder that Stockbridge became one of the city’s
first hip neighbourhoods. It’s now one of Edinburgh’s
most desirable, though many bohemian touches have
fallen away as its residents have matured and the area
has gentrified. Some second-hand shops cling on, but
mostly residents display refined tastes in basement
