Nice relaxing atmosphere. Good to see dogs welcome and was looking very nice after a redecoration. Didn't have any food but they did appear to do meals.

Close to our B&B - after finding out what was still available we settled on a special chicken dinner and fish and chips with garden peas. Well prepared. Very tasty. Good service.

New chef thank god food was excellent couldn't fault it had fish and chip the tartar sauce was amazing . Dawn served us and was great very friendly much improved since the new owner took over

Have heard great comments about the food lately, from family and friends so popped in today with my girlfriend, and was not disappointed , my girlfriend had the fish and I had the special of chicken and black pudding, amazing

I believe there is a new Chef. Menu is classic Scottish with a hint of European flavours. Food was very tasty and great value. Keep it up.

Typical old style boozer next to the rugby ground. Friendly staff. Good selection of beers. Great for watching all sports not just rugby!!

i think you will find the food is pre cooked and re heated, as we got macaroni in under 5 mins
