Good range of beers, although no Guinness. The Thwaites Stout is well worth a try. Excellent food, recommend the meatballs

Liked the beer garden outside so I could have a smoke. Beer was good, the staff were friendly. It is obviously a locals pub where people come to meet friends , have a chat, eat some food. The sort of place that enhances the attractiveness of an area when people are looking to move. The décor was distinctive which added... More

Had a a quick pint, staff was friendly and loved the fact that there were so many dogs in there. Slight bit pricy but beer (Three hop) was fantastic so doesn't matter.

A short bus ride out of Edinburgh's New Town and you're in a charming local pub, albeit a Scandi-styled one. We booked a table ahead and at first were disappointed at the small range of food choices. But rather than head off in search of somewhere else we stayed and ordered the mixed vege platter (humus, croquettes, grilled haloumi, roasted... More

Clique pub who wants customers on their terms.. Sometimes it doesn't always work like that!! Not good business sense!! Turning away paying customers that would only be... More

The fairly standard and rather uninteresting exterior belies a rather quirky and homely interior with a feminine Scandinavia touch. The decor is an eclectic 'arty' mix which works and doesn't! The result is a relaxed individualised space which is a refreshing antidote to the more pretentious and generic bars. The food is great - excellent value and good size portions.... More

This was my local bar from where I stayed in Edinburgh so we called in when we arrived. Good selection of beers and gins which is always a bonus for us. They have comfortable lounge areas plus an area where families can eat, drink and play together. They do food but we didn't partake. Pleasant staff. Try the local Pickering's... More

Called in for post dinner drinks and to call for a cab. Pleasant place, with quircky vintage furnishings. Great choice of drinks with no riff raff
