Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This bar has become a firm favourite of ours. The staff are always super-friendly and efficient. The space(s) aren't at all cramped and there is a general feeling of airiness. Loos are well maintained and everywhere is clean and in good order. Special thanks to the young female bartender, who made me the best Bloody🔥Mary ever, Cheers!

I was an apprentice at the nearby Haymarket Motive Power Depot in the late seventies early eighties and used to have drinks in this great old pub regularly. I have lived and worked overseas since then and my first visit for 40 years was a welcome warm homecoming. The pub looks much the same with appropriate updates of course and the beer was as well kept as I remember. What a great local bar. My wife and I met good friends who live nearby and had a lovely evening. They even had a photo of legendary barman Big Harry - he was the barman when I was a regular all those years ago.

Popped into this bar whilst on a weekend away in Edinburgh as it was right on our doorstep. Cracking traditional pub and will certainly head there again if back in the area.

Near Murrayfield Stadium but not only for international match days. Three separate areas all with tvs you can find somewhere to sit for most occasions. Plug sockets for chargers at most tables for those with flat batteries. Live music twice a month.

Good homely pub, 5 minutes from Murrayfield stadium and about 30 minutes into Princess Street but plenty of buses and it takes less than 10 minutes. Pub has plentyof selection of beers and spirits 2 small we lounges and main bar lots of Scotland rugby memorabilia inside pub ang great access for stadium.

Third bar on Calcutta cup day, last of the evening. Certainly still a great pub but more of atmosphere immediately before and after games. Also popped in November immediately after the Scotland RSA game and it was it’s normal lively atmosphere

Friendly with lots of room. The big windows almost make you feel you are outside. Covid arrangements are very good with space, seating and cleanliness. Easy sign in. Friendly staff and table service.

Roseburn pub, has lots of seating, is spacious and has a great selection of drinks available. Easy to meet for an after work pint or a catch up with pals here. Lovely cosy atmosphere. Worth a visit, close to Murrayfield too!
