About
Rabbie’s small group tours are driven by curiosity and guided by storytellers. We find the stories that go deeper and live longer in travellers' minds. On our journeys, everyone’s hungry for the little-known or just-happened, and we can go after them: no track too small, too trodden or obscure. No need for scripts, because our guides know places like the back of their hand.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I booked just the day before with Rabbies, was told they good your group to travel with . They excellent on time and very well organised . Loved the fact that they have small tour buses with maximum of 16 people .
I did the lochness tour with driver Willem Goodfella . We could not have asked for a one better . What a joy it was to go onthis journey with Willem . He was.fun , so knowledgeable about Scotland and its history and real proud Scotsman 👏.

I was sitting in the front seat , got to see and chat to Willem , due to the bus been small anyone could ask a question and he could answer . He had amazing knowledge , and made the journey such an enriching one .
I did the lochness cruise , but I feel I shud have rather looked around the town during to time constraints .

Rabbies are very lucky to have someone like Willem working for them - he makes the journey incredible and one does not feel that an entire day has passed . A real caring gentleman too . Sending best wishes from

A phenomenal day with a highly rated company. Our guide (and apprentice) Kevin and Craig were so knowledgeable of the area and made the journey very interesting. We enjoyed seeing the countryside, experiencing a small village for lunch, and of course checking out the beautiful Dewars distillery with its gorgeous buildings and tasty whisky. It’s a must for seeing a bit more outside of a single city if you have an extra day.

Very nice tour; Ali was a wonderful guide. He was very insightful and a good driver. We generally don’t do organized tours, but I have always wanted to see the highland, and I wanted my husband to relax and enjoy it too. We had plenty of stops to refresh and see the sights. The Loch Ness boat tour was also very pleasant.

Loch Ness, Glencoe and Highlands one day tour from Edinburgh Bus station St.Andrews Square. On 16May2024...Booking Reference Number: 128937386.
It was a good decision for opting Rabbies. They were punctual , helpful and last but not the least our coach RJI9 RVE :Ness4 ( guide...name spelling may be mistyped by me....Kerkian) made the trip knowledgeable and attentive with his commentary on board that added livelihood to the tour. On other hand guides do sit in coach and tell only the details of the visiting spots once approaching the spot or on the spot and again they sit back quietly in the coach. He was a good guy who made everybody laugh during the tour and was always there with us on the view spots. I found his coach window glasses excellently cleaned as my photo clicks are too good.

One of the best tours we have taken. Billy our guide not only knows a lot about whisky, but also is very passionate about Islay. While driving to the island he was able to give us a great deal of information without talking our ears off. Billy seems to have a knack for what people want and when. The tour definitely ticks all the boxes when it comes to whisky tasting. And because you’re part of a small group you can take your time taking to the tour guides and tasting whisky without feeling rushed. 100% recommend using Rabbies for any of your Scottish tour needs.

This was a wonderful experience. The guide (Jim Divine) was a great storyteller, providing us the historical background for what we were seeing in an entertaining manner. The sites we visited in the Orkney Islands were bucket list items, such as Skara Brae and Maeshowe. The landscape of the Highlands is breathtaking. I would recommend this trip to anyone with an interest in history.

It just seems like Scotland has a different style tour than I have been on before. There is a lot of history there and they focus on it to the degree that you feel like you are in a high school history course of some sort where no one is listening and no one cares that no one is listening lol. On our particular journey while the guide was certainly nice. He faced forward the entire time and just gave a spiel did not really engage us whatsoever. The only way I know how to describe it is like being on a trail horse of sorts. They know the route they know what they have to do to get back and that’s kind of how this felt. The locations that we went to, however, were wonderful and definitely worth seeing. I just would not get too caught up in the tour guide aspect of it.

Hi Mel, Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that you haven't enjoyed the commentary on our tours. All our driver guides are different and have their own passions and interests. Some will talk about the environment, others about language and even music or sports. But we can't escape the rich history of Scotland and the UK that has gone on to impact us to this day and even gone on to inspire so many books, TV shows and movies because it's so exciting! That means you will find most of our driver guides will delve a fair bit into our history as it typically is a crowd favourite, but we know history isn't for everyone. If there's other topics you're interested in your driver guides love it if you show an interest and ask questions throughout the tour, so next time don't be shy. And unfortunately your driver guide can't turn around whilst driving as they've got to keep their eyes on the road, I'm sure you understand! I'm glad that you enjoyed the stops you visited though, and I hope that the commentary didn't detract from the memories you made exploring Scotland. Thanks, Jo

If are looking for a nice day trip to view the Scottish Highlands, this is a great way to do it. Bryan was our driver and he was very good , felt safe and he added nice history and cultural information . It is a full day out driving for the most part , so keep that in mind but nice stops at Glencoe , etc. Regular stops for bathroom and pictures along the way . We felt some of the breaks could have been a little longer .

Wonderful tour of the Highlands with Lizzie aka the Greatest Tour Guide of All Time. We saw incredible sights, heard lots of interesting histories, listened to music by local artists, and enjoyed unparalleled weather. Lizzie is so knowledgeable and very kind and thoughtful. She made sure everyone was having a good experience (including dropping some travelers at the station in Perth so they could get to Glasgow directly instead of coming all the way back to Edinburgh). We wished she could be our guide for the rest of our stay in Scotland. Also I was very impressed by Rabbie’s care for this country, as I noticed multiple Rabbies guides picking up litter at our various stops. The first and third days of the tour are long, with many hours in the car but Lizzie’s stories and histories made it time well-spent. Highly recommend!

We booked the 1 day tour from Inverness to the Isle of Sky and Eilean Donan castle. It was amazing, took some amazing photos and our guide, Graham was really nice and made the day unforgettable.
