The World Famous Underground Ghost Tour

787 reviews
At street level, Edinburgh is a peaceful and pretty city—but the subterranean tunnels below tell an entirely different story. On this ghostly walking tour, explore historic sites including Greyfriars Kirkyard and St. Giles’ Cathedral with your enthusiastic guide, and hear chilling tales of murder and revenge. Delve down into underground caverns normally closed to the public, and learn of Edinburgh’s grim and gruesome past.

Beautiful gardens within Holyrood Park with views of Arthur Seat and Duddingston Loch. Lots of relaxing spaces and the volunteers that run the gardens and cafe are fantastic. It's a beautiful backdrop for photographs and we had wedding photographs taken there which you can book for a small fee.

Being in this place you will find absolute peace, a very cozy and quiet place, where you will enjoy the nature and the landscape of the lake, if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle this is the best place, difficult to find, but it is worth it….

Thanks for your feedback on the garden and the café The official route in is from Old Church Lane or from the car park of Duddingston Kirk as the café is not always open. The web site has a "map" detailing There are sufficient spaces in Duddingston Kirk card park N.B. We're now shut for the winter to allow time for the garden to recuperate
