An easy access from the city by Lothian bus #41 and there is a sign leading to the village from the bus stop. I decided to head here late afternoon and luckily I got there when the tide was low to enable me to walk...More

Take bus 41 from the city to Cramond Beach. The bus stops about an easy 10 minute (downhill) walk to the beach which is sure to be scattered with dogs (more so on the weekends). Check tide times before you go so you're able to...More

We went on a very wet and windy day but I still really enjoyed the walk over. You get some great views from the island as well.

You have to go check the tide chart before you go down on to the island. Its so different, i could not say. You have to check when it works and you do not get stuck. Hope this helps. Thanks
