We went here for Evening Prayer last night. Enjoyed the homily by the Rector, a wonderful soul. We shall return someday for evensong.

Albeit from a distance, I had a very exciting experience climbing up Calton hill, and having the pleasure of watching a sunset from there, quite beautiful to be honest, and St John's Episcopal Church was much part of that emotion and ambiance that night. It...More

This church was near our hotel so we saw it twice. We were very impressed by the stained glass windows in the church. The colors of the stained glass were vibrant, very good.

The cathedral was a great surprise. The interior was a "normal" Gothic-type buidling, but what sets this apart from some of the others is the artistic manner of decoration on the ceiling - quite spectacular! The remainder of the cathedral was beautiful, but the ceiling...More
