The communication was excellent from when i enquired about the costs to book a collection all the way through to the day of collection.
Tim was very professional, efficient and friendly. I was welcomed at the station exactly on time. Tim knew what time my train was coming and had the door open ready and waiting for me the second i stepped of the platform. He was also extremely helpful and offered to collect me from the airport as my flight was delayed.
He was understanding and patient and worked around me when my flight was late and i had to change the collection time.
Quality service. 5 star service right from the beginning. Got me to and thro from my destination in record time. Arrived on time both ways. I would highly recommend and I also got the history of the town on my journey which was an extra bonus.
He also provided recommendations for easier travel options from London which was a great help.

Starfish taxis saved our day. My son and I had half an hour to see St Andrew’s university one Friday eve due to late trains. We were staying in Edinburgh and needed a speedy tour before heading back.
We booked Starfish and Tim kindly drove us around the uni buildings, pointing out the faculties and told us everything we needed to know. A very good and quick tour, getting us back to the station with 5 minutes to spare.
Thank you for making a stressful evening so calm and for accommodating our slightly mad escapade. You should definitely book Starfish - you will be very well looked after.

Renting a car in Scotland is expensive and the driving arduous. A far better option is letting Starfish get you from point A to point B! Service from Edinburgh airport to Braemar was flawless, and the driver William was personally delightful as well as a highly capable chauffeur. Great communications re booking and just the perfect way to proceed after an international flight.

Tim and his team at Starfish Taxis exceeded all of our expectations! This was a bucket list trip for us so we were thrilled that everything went as planned with pick ups and drop offs. Beyond that Tim made being in Scotland and St Andrews all the more special by showing us sights and telling marvelous stories about the history of these fantastic places. We could not have imagined how this wonderful service would add so richly to our experience. Deep gratitude indeed!

Tim provided excellent service, not only as a driver but as a guide with extensive knowledge of the area. We were four people on a golf trip and he was very accommodating as he transferred us to various places at various times. My wife made the arrangements prior to our arrival and he was very prompt in answering all our questions. You cannot go wrong utilizing his many services and talents. Thanks Tim. Ken

A truly amazing service. I recently hired Tim for a long distance drive to Cambridgeshire and back to Scotland. Nothing was too much trouble. I can’t recommend him highly enough. Professional, prompt, kind and an amazing conversationalist.

Four Canadians ( two couples) booked Starfish for a day trip from the Edinburg cruise port ( South Queensferry ) for a tour to St Andrews. The plan was for a drive to St Andrews, shopping, Lunch, pictures, pub visit and a return trip. We did not use the ship excursion because it only allowed a limited time in St Andrews and was with 40 others. What a great experience and pleasant surprise with Starfish.
We had Tim as our driver, guide and advisor. He was prompt, professional, friendly, funny and entertaining. We had no idea about where exactly to go in St Andrews and he toured the city for us, showing points of interest, suggestions, and providing an overview of the city and its history. This was immensely helpful and set us up for success. During the trip back and forth he also showed us many cool and historic sights and provided a running commentary on Scotland life and his experiences. It was like having a buddy give you a quick tour. The price was quite reasonable and proved to be a highlight of our trip.

My husband and I walked a fairly large section of the Fife Coastal Path this spring. We hired Tim to transport our luggage while we walked from town to town. We were both very impressed with Tim and his service! Tim was friendly, helpful, and competent, and his service was flawless. If we ever need a taxi service in the Kingdom of Fife again, we will definitely call Tim!!

Tim and his associates (Sharon and Will) were fantastic to work with. I was leading a group of 8 golfers flying into Edinburgh and staying the entirety of our 9 day trip in St Andrews with side trips to the Castle Course, Crail, Lundin and Leven. Since some members of the group would only play 18 while others played 36, we had double the logistics on our days away from St Andrews and Starfish handled it beautifully. We worked out the logistics and the quoting before the trip and I would pay each driver at the time of service by credit card. Quite easy. I personally had a tough flight in and was teetering on having to make a trip to an emergency room. Tim advised me that Ninewells in Dundee should be my choice. Luckily I did not end up having to go, but I appreciated the recommendation. I would not hesitate to use Starfish for future travel. Thanks Tim!

This review is long over due. We hired Tim and Starfish to transport us from Edinburgh Waverley Station to St. Andrews. Tim was a true professional, monitoring our train from London, and communicating with us along the was to ensure that our transfer was smooth. As soon as the train arrived Tim was there to meet us, quickly we were loaded and off to St. Andrews. Once in St, Andrews Tim gave us a tour of town pointing out sights of interest and sharing his favorite spots to grab a pint. Can't thank Tim enough for kicking-off our two week golf trip in style. I highly recommend Tim and Starfish Taxi
