About
Craigtoun Park is a 47 acre park only 2 miles from St Andrews. The park itself is open 24/7 and it's a great day out for the whole family. During the season try the Rio Grande Railway, Crazy Golf, Putting and Puffin' Billy - the road train that takes you round the whole park. There are also rowing boats and pedalos, bouncy castles and pedal cars for the little ones, weather permitting. The cafe is open daily during the high season and Wednesday - Sunday out-with. It serves hot and cold food, teas and coffees and, of course, ice creams. As of September 2020, the paid for attractions are open at weekends only. For full details of all opening times, prices and event dates, please visit our website.

Lovely park we went on Easter weekend we where disappointed to see no stalls as there has been in previous years and the park was busy which is to be expected but the cues where just to long over 45 min wait to get on some things and with young kids that’s not an option! However we managed to get on some things and had a great time! The toilets on the other hand 🤢 I’ve got a young baby and the disabled baby’s changing was disappointing and disgusting the changing unit didn’t fold down properly there was no lock catch on the door and dirt and toilet roll everywhere along with a light that didn’t work! When I’m changing my little one a man tried to come in whilst we where in! Real safety issue, and the woman’s toilets where not any better! Water everywhere and small cubicles along with toilet roll and dirt everywhere again! Overall we had a great day but some areas definitely need improvement.

Many thanks for taking the time to write a review and we are sorry to hear about your disappointment with the toilets. This is something that we strive to keep on top of and unfortunately, the difference between a clean and dirty toilet is the use by one person I'm afraid. The toilets are cleaned on a regular basis (every hour as a minimum) however, there is always the misfortunate mishap occurring that you experienced. We will increase our cleaning schedule and ensure that the toilets are maintained to an acceptable level. As for the lock on the door and light not working, this is something that we were not aware of and having checked the toilets, there seems to be nothing wrong with either the locking mechanism or indeed the light.

Visited the park twice on a family holiday. It was fantastic for the kids. Plenty to do and kids and adults had a fantastic time. Staff were so lovely everywhere you went in park. A big thank you to the staff at the boats as my son threw a favourite toy in the water and the guy retrieved it with help from his colleagues. Brilliant service and made a little boy very happy.

Lovely well kept park, a looped path around the park which is suitable for multi users, pushchairs etc. Large play area and adventure playground. Plenty of space to picnic, cafe toilet facilities and a large car park (donation only).

Very nice for a bit of fresh air in a beautiful park. Well kept with a mix open area's and some shaded area's. The weekly park run is on a Saturday morning and attracts a lot of people.

I had a question about disabled access before a visit which was answered in a very useful and friendly way via email.
There is now an accessibly page on the web site - thanks.
My visit was very enjoyable which the good weather no doubt helped.
Access was easy with well prepared crushed gravel paths. The gardens are a delight with lots of well tended plants and spectacular trees. The volunteers and gardeners do a fine job keeping things looking good.
Getting around on my mobility scooter was easy and I think wheelchairs would not encounter any difficulties. The few steps are easy to see and alternative routes easy to spot.
A very relaxing visit finished off with a nice coffee.

Picked up by a tractor ride from the carpark we then bought a few tickets for extra rides inside. The kids loved the train ride and had loads of fun on the bouncy castles and trampolines.

The staff were all fantastic - positive, helpful and upbeat. This is truly excellent value for money and there is more than enough to do to keep kids entertained for hours.

We visited this lovely park located in the countryside a few mikes from St Andrews. It was lovely to escape the hustle & business of the town itself. The park offers lovely walks, a miniature train ride, Puffin Billy tractor ride, a boating pond and land based swing park & gardens. There are plenty of places for a picnic and various food outlets from ice cream to Angus Beef Burgers to enjoy. Overall, a lovely place to spend quality time with family, friends or your partner.
