Craigtoun Park is a 47 acre park only 2 miles from St Andrews. It's a great day out for the whole family. Try the Rio Grande railway, Crazy Golf, Putting and Puffin,Billy - the road train that takes you round the whole Park. There are boats and pedaloes, a Bouncy castle and pedal cars for the little uns. The cafe serves teas and coffees and has a huge selection of ice creams. Park is open weekends until 28th June and then daily until the end of August, then weekends through September and much of October.

Craigtoun Country Park is located some 4 miles South West of St Andrews - just follow the signs for Craigtoun or the Duke's Golf Course. The 47 acre site is owned by Fife Council, but is operated by the Friends of Craigtoun Park, a charity who have been running the amenities since 2012. It is an oasis of calm offering... More

We spent a whole day here! The play park was brilliant, the bouncy castles & bikes were loved by the kids! We bought a picnic which was lovely as it was such nice weather. Went on the train ride and the tractor ride and finished the day with a pedalo ride on the lake. Such a brill day, can't wait... More

I visited the Park at the end of the season just as all the rides were closing. However, the park is immaculate and is beautifully kept and the staff are really friendly. During the season, there is a multitude of things to entertain children at no great cost. There is a café which serves basic food, tea and coffee but... More

Craigtoun Park is a country park which is now run by volunteers with help from the council in the gardening and grounds area. It is a credit to these volunteers. A local institution, it upgrades itself every year and is an outstanding example of what can be done when a small group of dedicated people believe so strongly in the... More

Loads of people but a very run down place. Needs more updating and some safer markings around the ponds especially for the little ones!! Staff you can find to be awful rude and not want you there. Very expensive for what you get, not a lot to do, fun for children ages 2-5 apart from that very boring 👎🏼

We are very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your visit to Craigtoun Country Park. At this time of the year the park is open every day but the facilities and attractions have now closed for the winter season. We will be doing a lot of work on the attractions over the closed season and will open again... More

We came to St. Andrews for a Halloween event at the Craigtoun country park. There was a wonderful atmosphere with lots going on including a bouncy castle face painty disco a selection of hot food on sale and a ghost train on puffing billy around the park with various theatrical groups dotted around the park in fancy dress it was... We've been twice this year - once at Easter hols, then last week during half term. Both times were great - lovely big council park for walks and running around (toddler happy), super climbing frames and zip line, and a few kid-friendly activities to make it a bit more exciting for the 8 year-old and 10 year-old: bouncy castle, pedal...
