The scenery around this course is second to none. When you look from the first tee you see how amazing it must be to play on this course. The clubhouse is wonderful to look out. So rich in heritage and history. The course is beautifully manicured. The museum is across the road and the cafe provides great food and coffee.... More

When we planned our trip to Scotland we knew that St. Andrews Golf Club was a must see. Being an avid golfer, I would have loved to play but reservations are already booked until 2018. The course is a lush green and was not disappointed.

Didn't play the Old Course but had a good walk around...links course. You must be a straight driver to enjoy playing this course & a good reader of putts....

A wonderful place to visit (and to play golf). It all seems so unreal, like a fairytale, like a beautiful painting. Definitely worth to be visited!

We greatly enjoyed the accessibility to see the course and talk pictures of historic golf spots. There was a club tournament going on but the marshal on 18 allowed us to go onto the course and the "bridge" and even took pictures of us.

The most shockingly amazing part was realizing how publicly accessible the Old Course is. The tee off of the 1st hole and the 18th final hole rest side by side overlooking a crescent beach on the North Sea. A stone step way allows visitors to stroll up and take a seat to watch nervous, first-timers tee off on this historical... More

Unbelievably accessible. Opportunities for pictures. Easy to walk. Good coffee shop across the street with view onto 1st tee. Shops surround with nice selection of golf merchandise. St Andrews College very close.

This place is Mecca to a golfer and any other sportsman. We walked around and saw the club house the eighteenth hole. Awesome.

What can one say? It's Saint Andrews the oldest golf club and links in the world. Whether you play golf or not this is truly a landmark that must be visited by everyone. The grounds are beautiful the club is magnificent the history is storied. Stroll along the pathway playing as you go enjoying the scenery and remarking on the... More

I visited with non-golfing friends, but I will return with clubs. Just to see the famous Clubhouse and the stone bridge was a highlight of my entire trip.
