After all the hype decided to have game on Torrance course. What a bad mistake. Extremely wet and caked in mud, everything covered and turf is very poor quality.seem to be managing moss and definitely relying on the St Andrews name but not in same league as seaside courses near Old Course. Won't return.

If visiting St Andrews do not just get stuck playing the Links courses. The Torrance is an excellent course in excellent condition. The greens are as good as any in St Andrews. The guys in the golf shop, John, Andrew and Dan are friendly and knowledgeable and go out there way to accommodate you.

Groupon 2 for 1 voucher turned into a great day out . The Torrance course is excellent and was in perfect condition. We had dinner the the clubhouse which was excellent and value for money , not expensive. I will be back to check out the sister course The Kittocks in 2015.
