Yes, this has got a downstairs exhibition, which is pretty good. I did the quiz and learned a bit about the history of Saint Andrews. The exhibition consists mostly of written boards. Other than that, there was a temporary exhibition upstairs, having not much to show, as shown in the photo: a pink balloon and a digital board.

Not a huge museum but very interesting and worthwhile visiting. St. Andrews played such an important part in the History of Scotland its good to visit this museum and get a flour of what St. Andrews is really about

We were fortunate to see the exhibition of the Glasgow Boys paintings and also enjoyed lunch in the lovely cafe. They have an activity room for children which is a great idea.

Art lovers like myself do love a place they've never visited before... and this was just such a wee treat I thought you might like to try it yourself. As with all galleries, in Scotland at least, entry to their treasures is completely free... and to my mind, this adds to the pleasure of art appreciation. The regular exhibitions here... More

As others have mentioned, this is a very small museum, only two rooms, plus temporary exhibits upstairs. The collection has some interesting artifacts and photos, but it's more interesting for residents of St. Andrews than tourists. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit on a short trip, but you're living here, it's a good free way to spend... More

The museum is small but very friendly and interesting and the special exhibitions are good - the museum is free. Free or cheap parking nearby (the museum grounds also have some parking). The café in the museum is friendly with lovely service. The menu includes cakes, baked potatoes, soup, sandwiches etc plus main meal. We had smoked haddock with half... More

A small museum with interesting idisplays on St Andrewsin recent history, not all golf related. There is a pleasant cafe serving meals and snacks at reasonable prices.

Not quite what we expected but well worth a visit none the less. It is small and compact and does have a bit of local histoy. Clean toilets and nice cafe/shop make the visit worthwhile.

Thank Iain M
