It is easy to over look this monument but it is worth a stop. It overlooks the water. It is dedicated to those who died from religious persecution.

5 minutes from the golf course and the beach. A stark reminder of religious in-tolerance and courage. Monument is not that extraordinary but considering lessons is very important.

Aside from the historical poignance of the monument as detailed in other reviews, the views from here out over West Sands and the sea are extraordinary. There are well-placed benches near the monument on which you could while away hours on a nice day.

An important monument to a religious cause hundreds of years ago. Very poignant and worth a visit as central to many attractions and the town itself
