I completed my dry suit course with SDS, and had the pleasure to join on some fun dives. I had a great time on both days, and would recommend this dive centre for training or fun diving. The equipment we were given for our dives was in really good condition, and we had the chance to train in a special site - not your typical pool.
I feel it was very easy to have an excellent rapport with staff members, all of whom are very professional. I'm looking forward to more days out with them!
I also had the chance to buy some gear in their shop. They are very knowledgeable on their products, and are able to provide a lot of after-sale support.

I cannot recommend the Scuba Dive Scotland team enough! All instructors and assistant instructors were fabulous throughout our Open Water course. They maintained professionalism during both pool and open water dives, and provided positive feedback to all students while we practiced skills. Paul was the main instructor for my group throughout the month - he was very supportive and ensured safety for all divers. He is an incredibly skilled and experienced diver with great humour. Chris was also very helpful and knowledgeable. Although I felt apprehensive during my open water dives, Chris was very calm explained everything well. Graeme, Lizzy, Ross, Kate, Archie, Andy, and Scott were also were so enthusiastic in their teaching roles and a pleasure to learn with. Thank you all very much!

The staff at Scuba Diving Scotland know how to make you feel welcome. I did 2 courses with them, EFR and the Drysuit specialty. Everything was really well organised but what stood out was their professionalism and focus on safety with thorough dive briefings and a very encouraging attitude.
I felt so well taken care of for the whole course; a big shout out to Paul and Tom who made sure we were safe and comfortable on our dives. They are both so knowledgeable, patient and fun to be around!
This is honestly the best and most professional dive company I’ve ever dived with. Everyone was so personable, in fact, all the divers on the course were very social too, creating a super fun atmosphere.
I would recommend Scuba Diving Scotland to anyone and thank you to their great team for making the course such a good experience!

I recently completed a PADI open water course and I can not recommended them enough.
The dive team including Chris and Tommy are friendly, very knowledgeable and always will to help.
The SDS dive shop is well stalked and well layed out with good onsite facilities.
I recommend SDS enough that I'm looking at continuing my diving experience with SDS

I am delighted to have just completed the PADI Open Water referral course with Scuba Drive Diving Scotland. I was impressed by how well organised they were from initial contact, through to classroom theory sessions and the 3 confined water dive sessions. They also provided me with my referral paperwork less than 2 days after completing my last pool session. Really friendly bunch which made the learning experience more enjoyable. I hope to do more diving with them in the future and would recommend them to anyone interested in any level of diving.

I carried out my dive rescue course at the end of August with Tom and Chris in Aberdeen.
From the outset Tom and Chris were very welcoming and instantly put any nerves we had at ease.
We carried out the knowledge reviews with Tom and he was very clear with his theory and made it easy to understand. It was evident that he has years of experience which is exactly what you want when carrying out a course of this manner.
Throughout the course both Tom and Chris were always willing to help, wether it would be with the practical exercises, broken equipment (sorry for snapping the fin straps) or simply offering tips and advice from their own experiences.
Personally I think Tom and Chris’s teaching style was spot on. The correct level of humour and seriousness was used throughout the course to keep it enjoyable while completing the necessary exercises.
Chris and Tom were a pleasure to work with and it is clear that they really enjoy the job they do. Keep up the good work and hopefully we will see you in the future for more giving.

I recently attended my first Open Water weekend at Loch Creran, organised and ran by the freedom diving team. From start to finish the weekend went extremely well, such a good weekend. The kit was all well fitting and looked after. Staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledge. After each dive they would take time to debrief, discuss and complete paperwork. Honestly I could not recommend freedom diving enough, the staff were always on hand to help and advise, and i will definitely be back.

If you want the best then this is it! The professionalism, attention to detail and focus on safety mixed with immense support, patience, encouragement, understanding, good humour, thoughtfulness, kindness and genuine friendship all add up to a wonderful experience. At 61 yrs old a whole new world has been shown to me- thank you all!!!

I have done a few courses here recently and the training has been spot on. All of the staff are great, very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I had an issue viewing my certifications and they fixed it almost immediately, couldn’t have asked for a better service. Divemasters Paul and Ross were a brilliant help on days out and a good laugh as well! Would happily recommend diving here

This weekend I finished up my Open Water course with SDS and I couldn't recommend them enough. All of the instructors and dive masters are friendly, welcoming and amazingly helpful - it's clear that they really care about their students and work hard to make sure people are safe, comfortable and confident when diving.
If you struggle, they're right there ready to help you through it and really take the time to support all their students.
A really great experience and I feel really confident that my diving career is starting out with such a solid foundation.
