The fact it is a working distillery and not a museum makes the tour all the more relevant, lots going on and being able to watch as the distillers go about their actual working day added to the experience. The site and its buildings give a real step back in time into the history. The story of the processes, from the making of the spirit to the stories of the barrels and the storing to then create the whisky was really communicated well by our guide as she was really passionate and knowledgeable about whisky and the Auchantoshan story. We had a great day and the shop is excellent. The hospitality areas are first class. Totally recommend a visit.…
