Very interesting projects to enjoy

A beautiful building with steep escalators to the fourth floor. The film footage to go with the projects on show really made it more interesting.

A climb up to the viewing platform is a must even if you don't do museums. A really nice atmosphere in this place.

Well worth the climb, to take in the Glasgow skyline. Definitely worth a visit, there is a shop also on the ground floor.

Bit disappointed compared to Glasgow's other major musuems/attractions. May be being a little unfairly over critical perhaps because I was frustrated in not being able to locate it easily feel that better signage would be a big help.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review of The Lighthouse. We're sorry to hear that you found it difficult to find us, we are definitely a little more hidden than some other venues however that's partially due to our side-street location in the busy city centre. We'll definitely take your comments regarding signage on board. We hope you... More

An amazing building, views all over Glasgow and so much to see. There's a really nice cafe at the top and an excellent shop on the ground floor and all different exhibition space in between. Definitely worth a visit whether you are local or a tourist.

Enjoyed the lighthouse and learning about CRMackintosh. There are 2 towers with views of the city, we went up both, 1 has a lift, the other strenuous stairs - its worth it

Took the advice of a 'local' here in Glasgow and visited the Lighthouse and what a hidden gem this is. Amazing exhibitions here and viewing opportunities of the City. Staff exceedingly helpful and informative. Highly recommended.

With an hour to spare on a wet Sunday afternoon before we caught the train, we decided to visit The Lighthouse. Formerly the HQ of a newspaper, this is now museum, trendy office space and event location. Sadly, they don't have a cloakroom for storing bags (council policy, apparently), but you can drag your luggage around with you. Not ideal,... More

Hidden away off a wee lane in the centre of Glasgow is this most interesting museum. The exhibitions advertised did not sound so interesting but we were captivated when we saw them basically because the museum is well set out and different. The Rennie Mac Room which I believe is on permanent show is really excellent. We climbed the 137... More

Great short history of Mackintosh in the community with examples of their work. You get a sense of local potential walking through the light house which gives a new vitality and hope for our future generations.
