My visit to the Kelvingrove Museum was one of the highlights of my time in Glasgow. One does have to put at least 2 - 3 hours aside to be able to absorb all the information and spent time in the different sections. Off course, the Museum is surrounded by the lovely park with lots of greenery. I was particular... More

It was a nice park - nothing to write home about. The signage was good though so easy to walk around and find the Museum

Nice gardens and good to walk around in dry/warm weather. Lots of benches to sit down, read a book, listen to music or just people watch. You could also visit the newly refurbished nearby museum.

Obviously has some fine paintings by some of the very best artists both past and present but struck me as lacking a bit of umph. Perhaps I was just not in the mood and I'm being unfair but nothing really smack, bang walloped me into feeling I had had a special experience.

Nice for a walk, or to relax. Lots of benches all over. Great to bring a book here on a sunny day and have a picnic.

Kelvingrove Park offers an open space in the city of Glasgow. Although a hefty walk from the city centre, it is easily accessed by bus, subway (Metro) or taxi. A river runs through the park and there are many attractions for families within its boundaries.

As we all know, it often rains in Glasgow! If (when) it does, this is the very best way to spend your day. With collections in natural history, art, science, and local cultural installations the only problem is that one day is not long enough! The cafe also does a tasty hot chocolate and banana/walnut bread for when you take... More

I had to walk through this park to get to my hostel across the way. It was a nice park and easy to get through.

One of the most beautiful red sandstone buildings in Glasgow, the various coat of arms depicting all the counties of Scotland on the outside of the buiding the year it was finished being built, is beautifully crafted stone and the detail is wonderful.
