Small free galley makes a nice add on if going anyway to see the ticketed Macintosh house or the university. If you are a fan of whistler then you will appreciate the place more.

The Mackintosh House was splendid. A carefully authentic reconstruction of the Mackintosh couple's West End flat. What light airy spaces they created. Some of the design aspects still seem avant-gard. They were way ahead of their time. Not sure about having a reconstruction of Northampton's...More

The gallery has some beautiful paintings - particularly for Whistler fans - but the highlight is the attached Charles Rennie Mackintosh House. Haven't been in years until today. Stunning, and made far more memorable by the fantastic guide. Not a guided tour - just going...More

This museum is a hidden gem. Small and we'll structured, it contains a small selection of everyone's favourite things - big bones, weird things in jars and a wall of glittering gem stones! Ideal for kids also as you can make it to the end...More

I've been to the Hunterian Art Gallery both times I've ever been to Glasgow, and it's wonderful - a lovely little collection, beautifully displayed. An absolute must-see if you're visiting Glasgow. This time I combined my visit with the Mackintosh House, too, and I'd particularly...More

The Hunterian is a real tribute to the philanthrophy and generosity of one of Glasgow's great inhabitants. Real revelation

It's ok. Nothing more, I'm afraid. Terrific, if you like Whistler, but it's really not worth going out of your way for because beyond that, there is nothing much to see. In truth, I was disappointed by the offering, the layout and the information provided....More

Sorry I don't know the answer. I was only in Glasgow 2 days last month on a short break. I do not live there and so do not keep up to date on what's on.

Not sure since we didn't actually go to the show but it should be worth it as Scottish comics are great eg the Beano and the Dandy,
