It was a wonderful experience for me, the tour guide explains all the time about the history of monuments and important places I was watching, also was so polite and answered any question about Scotland I had in my journey even though it wasn't at the tour. I felt very comfortable that's why for me it was an excellent experience

My partner and I had a wonderful time touring Loch Ness, Haunting Glencoe & The Highlands with Discover Scotland Tours and our Guide, Stevie. This was my second time taking this tour (the first time was back in 2018) and it was just as good as the first! I appreciated that the tour seemed to have been changed up slightly, making it so that I had some new experiences while still being able to enjoy the incredible experiences that brought me back. This was my partner's first time taking the tour, and in Scotland in general! He thought the trip was excellent and has since told friends and family that it was his favorite thing we did during our week-long visit to Scotland.
Our Guide, Stevie, was a fantastic source of knowledge on all things Scottish history and culture. He was friendly, funny, and thoughtful, and made the trip truly wonderful! We appreciate that he made extra scenic stops after our group decided against the boat cruise in Loch Ness - it made the tour feel so much more personalized. We will also never forget visiting the Highland cows!! Overall, our trip with Stevie felt like a trip with a friend. We could tell that he enjoyed his job and took great pride in introducing tourists to the beautiful Highlands. We would tour with him again any day!
After two trips with Discover Scotland, I am beyond impressed by your level of customer care and the quality of the tours you all provide. The value for money is unmatched. My partner and I will and do recommend Discover Scotland to anyone considering traveling to Scotland. Further, our experience with Discover Scotland has us itching to return to explore the Isle of Skye with you all!! We cannot thank you enough for the wonderful experience you provided us - we have memories from this day that will be cherished forever.

The trip topped the entire time in Scotland - thanks to Billy! Billy met me and my friends with a warm welcome and made us feel comfortable and at home. With several stops throughout the day to allow for bathroom breaks and fuel (and souvenir stops!), Billy made sure we were well taken care of the entire day. Billy took all the pictures for my group and we are so lucky to cherish these memories forever. Billy is welcoming, lighthearted, warm, and extremely educational, and I feel so grateful to have him as our guide. Thanks Billy!

My husband and I booked with Discover Scotland Tours on their Oban, Western Highlands, Lochs, Castles & Glencoe tour and another tour with a different company the very next day. From our first interaction we had a warm and friendly email confirming our booking, then 2 weeks before the tour a looking forward to welcoming you, email then days before another full email welcoming us in the coming days for our tour - the other company we received a cold reservation email and nothing else - this was our first impression we were in for a treat with D.S.T.
The day of our tour arrived and off we set out on foot to join our tour. As we approached the bays of where all the tour groups departed from we heard first, before then seeing this larger than life magnigicent darling of a man dressed in a kilt greeting and joking with folks - Whilst we giggled at this Big Man's humour, My husband turned to me and said "I hope we get him", and as Luck would have it Scott was our guide - Happy Days!
Well......
From Go to woah Scott took us on what can only be described as one of THE BEST day tours we have ever done from anywhere around the globe.
Our tour was intimate - there was 3 of us, and to say it was personalised would be an understatement.
Scott was a wealth of knowledge, guiding us through every region we were travelling to with tales of new and old with nothing but passion in his delivery.
Scott made stops we would never have had on some of the bigger tours still on route but petsonalised stops for photos, being our photographer so we could have nice pics of our day, which was a bleak contrast and disapointment to the waste of money tour we did with another company the next day that litterally dumped us for 2hrs in a village that wasnt even open !
We had just finished a tour of Ireland and our tour with Scott was our first day in Scotland. With hand on heart we saw more in 1 day with Scott in this tour than what we did in a whole week in Ireland!
Words really cannot describe how incredibly thankful and totally fortunate we were to have
*Elite Customer Service
*A guide who hands down was a totally passionate and extremely personable and who completely Made our tour.
Scott if your reading this, Thank you so so much. You are a total Sweetheart and we cant thank you enough for a day that was completely amazing and utterly memorable. We Loved you Hen! If you ever come to Perth Australia our door is open to you xx
As we travelled today with a miserable monotitoned bore of a guide, on a crammed busload of tourists, regretting every second of this glorified bus trip, we thought of you and wished we had canx and come joined you today, simply for the incredible company and comentary
In closing as I wrote in the title, if you want an average, boring, unpersonalised experience, dont book with Discover Scotland Tours, but if your looking for the creme de la creme of Scotland Tours, Dont waste your time searching for the others, just book with Discover Scotland Tours.
Highly Recommend and will be telling all our friends and Family visiting to only use Discover Scotland Tours, when visiting Scotland.
Thank you team for looking after us, Merry Christmas and Happy Hogmanay to you all xox

We had an amazing day doing the Glenfinnan Viaduct, Mallaig & Glencoe tour with Stuart as our guide and driver with an almost private tour since we booked in the low season. Stuart was very knowledgeable about all the places we visited and gave us lots of infos which was very appreciated ! He was a very kind, thoughtful and safe driver too. We also got to see Dumbledore's grave which was not initially described in the tour and were very happy about it !!

The whole tour is amazing. Driver Scot greeted us with warm welcome all the time and took good care of us. He would introduce all the good spots and the historical stories behind it. You’ll never get bored with him. For the tour itself, everything is extremely good, most famous spots are covered and we stopped at several viewpoints to take breathtaking photos. Definitely would come back for a second tour. Thanks a lot Scot!

My Highlands tour wouldn't have been the same if we had done it with anyone but Billy and Discover Scotland Tours! Billy made the trip enjoyable, fun, informative, and easy. By the end of the day, I was singing Scottish tunes, learning Scottish phrases, and recounting how great of a day it was. I would recommend Discover Scotland Tours and Billy for all who travel to Scotland. Billy made sure we were comfortable and shared the history of the sites we visited, allowing us to take countless photos. Once again thank you Billy for making the day the most memorable part of my trip. Discover Scotland Tours is pure dead brilliant!!!

We had a great time on the tour to Loch Ness. Especially because, thanks to a lucky coincidence, only 3 people took part with us. Our tour guide driver was extremely kind and attentive throughout the journey. He stopped at all planned main stops, where there was enough time to get to know the place, to buy drinks, coffee, food, and gifts. In addition, he stopped at other points where it was possible to take photographs. The tour lasted as planned, and we arrived back in Glasgow on time.
We already planned this tour in Hungary and booked it at the Visit Scotland office in the center of Glasgow (VisitScotland Glasgow iCentre).

DiscoverScotland Tours has a range of prices listed for each tour. And the cost really depends on what time of the year that you plan to travel. So, yeah, like William P said, go to the website, put in your dates and check it out.

Hi, we are arriving Greenock september 11 with princess cruise line and want to travel in the area. Please can you advise me.
Hi Ilana K, thank you for your question.
We have 3 different shore excursions which are meeting the cruise ship due to dock in Greenock on 11th September.
As cruise ships have a limited time in port the excursions allow you to see as much as possible and are designed around the ships docking times. Please have a look at the itineraries on our website or contact us by email for further information.
Can we fly into Glasgow for extended tours of Scotland with you then stay over so we can visit Arochar for two days before returning home from Glasgow?

Hi! I am interested in doing the 3 day Skye tour. Is it possible to find out the ages of people in the group who usually do it? Are there many other people under 30 or is it mostly older folk and families?

Our tour was very much a mixed group. There were 4 in our party all over 60. But there were also young couples(25 to 35) from India, Sweden, Catalonia (Spain), Australia and France.
I would highly recommend the tour.

Hello
We are going on a day trip which includes the steam train ride with Discover Scotland on 19th August.
I would like to know how freuent the toilet stops are during the coach drive part of the journey as my companion is concerned about this.
Thank you.
Stephen.

I did the 3 day coach tour with Discover Scotland and the stops were about every 30-60 minutes . I don’t think we went more than 1.5 hours without a stop and that may only have been for a couple stretches of the 3 day journey. , but in general it seemed to be no more than 1 hour between stops . I drank a lot of water in this tour and I tend to go frequently myself!

Is there a good place to park all day at the pick up point in Glasgow, 266 George Street? Trying to see if I should drive my rental car or get an uber.

I would Uber it, parking is expensive for the day.
