We take advantage of the hop on-off buses wherever we travel. This one was very good. It was clean and that’s important when you need clear windows. The taped commentary was adequate. We did the loop twice to see everything and then jumped off at George Square for some shopping on Argyll and Buchanan Streets. The bus covers a wide area of the city. It’s always good to start off in the morning after the office traffic gets to work. I was very pleased with the service of this company.

This was our only introduction to Glasgow and so worth it. My favorite part was driving past the university- so beautiful!!

The online map is not at all accurate. It indicated the bus was at the stop and it wasn’t; in fact it was another 15 minutes before it showed up. Another time the map indicated all the buses were grouped at the east end and we were in the west end. We decided to walk toward the earlier stop just see the sights and around the corner the bus appeared. The worst thing that happened was that after a fifteen minute wait, a bus appeared and didn’t stop for us despite three people waving their arms. The next bus appeared after a more than 30 minute wait

Thank you for your feedback regarding our online map. We had been experiencing some bugs with our tracking system which we have now resolved. I can only apologise for the bus going past we will address this issue with our drivers to ensure that they are extra vigilant in looking out for customers at our stops.

Actually had a really nice experience with this, which i wasnt expecting as you see these buses about all the time. Went with some friends. Wrap up warm, you will need it! Wish we had gone on it when the christmas lights were on as we could see them being set up.

We bought a 2 day ticket online as it was only an extra £1 each. The ticket may seem pricey but is worth it as for some of the main attractions, i.e., Riverside Museum. It took us right outside. Having the 2 day ticket meant we could jump on and go straight to the next attraction. My only negative comment would be that you sit at the 1st stop for around 15/ 20 minutes before leaving again . All of the drivers were lovely, and all happy to have a chat or answer questions.

Highly recommend going on this trip. Lots to see and being able to hop off whenever you like is great. Loved the Kelvingrove art gallery and museum.

This was a great way to get a feel of the city. We liked the audio portion, that really helped. We stayed on for the full 1.5 hour tour and it gave us ideas of where we really wanted to visit. Perfect introduction to Glasgow!

We had a lady who was very informative about Glasgow. It was a wet and rainy day (thanks to storm Babet) but we saw loads of interesting places and the lady gave us very good knowledge of the area. There were times when she was talking about a area but you missed it or could not see where she was wanting you see. Other than that a pleasant tour.

We usually love these tours but this one missed the mark completely. The narration was very, very limited compared to other similar tours. We learned very little. Glasgow is, putting it kindly, a rapidly changing city and the sense of history and understanding a decent guide provides was just not there.
We got off at stop 12 and, after spending the day in the West End, ended up getting the subway back into the centre rather than finishing the tour.
Cheap but still felt like a waste of time and money.

The tour guide was too busy chatting to customers downstairs, we didn't see half of what she described as she saw it, there was no headphones or any way to translate . The best and only part that could be rcomennded was the driver Stuart. Excellent driver.

Hello, just to confirm, the bus tour is not operating from October 24th to November 15th? Is there an alternative for a November 7th city tour?

Yes unfortunately we will not be running during the period that the COP26 conference is being held in Glasgow. This is due to major road closures and disruptions across the city. It's also important to note that many of the attractions and museums in the city will also be closed at this time. We can recommend a range of walking tours of the city centre run by Walking Tours in Scotland as the best way to see Glasgow at this time.

it gives you prices and places of interest and booking instructions but you really dont need to book
Times are from 09.30 - 16.35 all year but not 25th 26th December and 1st January.

What a shame you are not here today as it is a beautiful clear sunny day but a bit chilly..
I suggest if you have time stay on the bus for the whole tour then go around again and get on and off to see the places that are of real interest to you or better still get the 2 day pass.
Sit up stairs you get a much better view and if it is cold just remember to wrap up.
If the top of the bus is full wait for the next bus it is only 15 minutes later.
Depends on where you are staying you might not need to come in to the city centre to pick up the tour . Check the pick up and drop off places.
When you are walking around Glasgow remember to look up at the older buildings they are amazing.

If you have a contactless card, you can pay on the bus. For other cards, you can pay at stop 1, George Square, to the bus tour representative. There is always someone around on the sidewalk at the bus stop.

If the ship docks at Greenock, this is approx 27 miles from the centre of Glasgow. The hop on hop off bus does not go anywhere near the port. You would need to get to the centre of Glasgow first.

Please note that you can't yet pay by card at this stop, so you'll have to buy your tickets online in advance on our website or in cash from your driver on board. Contactless payments on board coming this summer.

What are the operating times? We arrive in Glasgow at 2pm and am wondering whether to buy a 1 day or 2 day pass. Also, which is the difference in prices between 1 day and 2 days pass?
