Breath of fresh air in the city

Was a breath of fresh air in the city, We had a nice coffee in the glasshouse cafe, which is a bit dated, There are some decent kids playgrounds.

There is some interesting varieties of building around the park. Flat so great if mobility issues, quite large - can walk here from City Centre and walk or cycle all the way to Science Centre (flat no hills) etc. Not many facilities e.g. for juice - St Andrews On The Square nearby (Café Source) with local food. We seen Radiohead... More

First impressions weren't great as the park is flanked by big, ugly tower blocks, but it does have real charm and a sense of history. Great for a stroll and there is a big obelisk dedicated to Nelson and the stone that marks the spot James Watt was at when he had his idea for a separate condenser for the... More

A great place to walk, run, sight see and relax. We stayed at a great vrbo apartment right on the Green and our kids and we loved it tremendously. Catch the rowers practicing on early weekend mornings and dont miss the amazing three slides park and $1 bicycle track!

I lived in front of Glasgow green for a year and although the park by itself is quite standard I loved the quantity of events it hosted! The park itself is beautiful and great for a walking, bike riding, running and even walking your dogs. But nothing really different from the usual. Where it shines the most in my opinion... More

Glasgow Green is the city's oldest common land and is close to the city centre. The Dear Green Place, as Glasgow is known is absolutely epitomised by this great civic space. When the sun is shining, hundreds of people descend on The Green to enjoy the space or walk along the River Clyde. If you fancy something to do, then... More

Came on October 11 where it was nearly 5 degrees in the morning, it was all misty and foggy can't really see clearly of the green, still there are people jogging in the park.
