Get out of the city for a while. This is a great place to go for a wander or have a picnic. There's a nice walk by the river.

Glasgow Green is a nice park south east of the city centre. Running along side the river Clyde, there is a magnificent fountain and tropical garden within it.

Great place for a walk in the city, enjoy a stroll along the river Clyde and the Victorian weir. Have a look at the Doulton Fountain and Peoples Palace or a stroll along Nelsons monument towards the Arch

Very big place. Great for a run, walk or bike ride. It's runs along the river Clyde, it's near the People's Palace and it's not too far from the city centre. Very pleasant area for a stroll, especially on a lovely sunny day. .

Check out their web site as Glasgow has many Premier Inns. A nice one is in Sauchiehall Street.
