I have visited the Botanic Gardens many times over the years and am always glad to have spent time in a very relaxing environment in the heart of the West End.

We visited the gardens and museums are were not overly impressed. The botanic gardens are pleasant but relatively small. The people's museum is good for learning about the history of Glasgow but is lacking something I could not quiet but my finger on.

This offers an amazing display of trees and plants from all over the world, in a couple of stunning greenhouses. The smaller Kibble Palace has a display of the worlds trees, then the larger greenhouse has examples of plants from all over. Visited on a cold February day, the climate inside made for a pleasant afternoon.

Even in February, this was a very enjoyable visit. One aspect that struck us throughout the gardens was the effort they have expended to encourage visitors to learn a little more about the world of plants and how mankind has benefitted from them. I have finished the day a little wiser. Thank you. This is a very peaceful place to... More

Really good for a walk around. Lots of people also use here for their wedding photos if they are using the Hilton across the road Nice on a warm day talking a walk through and easily takes up 1.5-2hours

Firstly, I have to say, I could not believe that you can wander in and out of the beautiful glasshouses for free, amazing. We walked through the gardens on a very cold February day, and it was lovely to pop into the glasshouses to wander round the vast selection of plants, and have a warm up as well. Brilliant.

Great to visit for a leisurely stroll on a nice day, or take young grandchildren to park area. Stop and sit with lunch. Enjoy the beauty of your surroundings.
