Often described as "Scotland's Most Beautiful Distillery", Glengoyne is open all year for guided distillery tours, whisky tastings and special events. Just a short drive from Glasgow, Stirling and Loch Lomond, this traditional, hard working distillery has been flourishing since 1833. Glengoyne's range of in-depth distillery tours, whisky tasting sessions, private dining and unique hospitality includes the legendary Master Blender tour where guests create their very own individual whisky to take home.

The tourists buses come here. If you are walking that is a big distraction. The tickets are a bit high priced. The scotch selection has 10 and 20 and 30 year tasting. Lots of folks were having a go at it. The tour was just...More

This was my fourth Master Blender tour - it never disappoints, I always learn something new and each blending experience is different. By far the easiest distillery to reach from Glasgow ( one bus which drops you at the gate) and such a nice bunch...More

We came here as part of a Highlands tour. The whole reason we chose this particular tour was so we could visit Glengoyne and it did not disappoint. Glengoyne is one of the oldest running distilleries in Scotland and it is still 100% family owned...More

Delicious whisky and even friendlier customer service, particularly our host Joanne. She was very knowledgeable and friendly! I would definitely recommend stopping by for a tour or tasting.

This was a stop off on our West Highland Way walk. My wife and I completed the basic tour. The sample (12 year old) was smooth. The tour guide informative and good humoured. Recommended.

We booked online for the chocolate and whisky tour on the morning of the tour - on arrival, our booking was confirmed and we joined the group. The stories told on distillery tours tend to be very similar - and the methods described are fairly...More

Setting is so pretty and the guides are great (all in tartan gear). Nice gift shop and a genuinely friendly atmosphere. Very nice tasting of 4 different types of their whiskey. Definitely recommend a visit.

Our holiday is nearly done. Wondering what to do today. Headed off to visit a castle and spotted we were going to pass near Glengoyne. We pre booked, and we were glad we did. On arrival it was immediately noticeable that this pretty distillery was...More

I have had other Distillery tours but never got the real warm personal feeling that I have at Glengoyne. I had a terrible car rental experience while at Glengoyne in 2013 when I visited, and a couple of tour guides lent a hand, a big...More

When I was there, there were children on tours, so I think your 15 year old would be allowed, but just not allowed to imbibe. I'd contact them just to be certain - I had a few questions before I booked and they were quick... More
