Regularly walk this route starting at Spier's Wharf. Usually do the walk to Maryhill Locks then back down Maryhill Road to Charing X. But have recently gone all the way to Bowling! Took 4 hours. Really enjoyable!

Have been in this office several times recently and received excellent service. The staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful and their local knowledge extensive. What a change for the better and so much more comprehensive than an on-line search. Long may it remain open.

Living up to an old campaign slogan, the tourism folks at Glasgow are really helpful when it comes to pinpointing attractions customized to your interests. Glasgow City centre has many beautiful sign posted maps showing where things are. The problem is when you go to where the Tourist Information is shown to be it is no longer there. Has not been for ages and they have not bothered to change the signs. Managed to get a newer map from a nearby Hotel showing where it had moved to but got there and found it had been moved again! Got directions from a local at that site but found it was not there either. Gave up in disgust and left!…
