    Memorable birthday experience
We Visited at the weekend for friend’s son birthday party. We had the tour of the stadium from Frankie which was great. His enthusiasm and knowledge kept a bunch of 11 year olds engaged throughout. They particularly enjoyed the mini game on the warm up pitch and photos outside. It’s a great memorable birthday for football fans, no matter who they support locally. Thanks again Frankie for a great afternoon

    Average stadium needing upgraded
Was there for the recent league cup final. Have been to Hampden several times over the last twenty years and to be honest the old lady is needing some tlc. Would love to see the running track removed and the terraces being steeper. Unfortunately probably won’t happen on my lifetime. Basically an average ground now not befitting of our national team.

A venue forced on fans by the SFA
Awful stadium, difficult to get to with no decent transport links. a huge wasteland behind the goals that means fans are miles away from the action. No detailed seating plan available on the official website - every other venue can provide this - why is this beyond the people at Hampden? After a very expensive renovation , the real issues have still not been addressed

    Fantastic tour!
Fun, knowledgeable tour with a great guide in a rainy day! We got to see the two dressing rooms, warm up area, and the pitch! Also visited the museum which is well done! Great day to spend with my teenage footballer! Such a lovely staff and yummy treats at the cafe!

    Foos gig
Visited here in June to attend the foo fighters gig, overall the band were great and we wouldn’t fault them one bit, bit touch and go with the actual stadium though, lots of strange rules, they stopped serving everything after 9.30pm and closed toilets at 10pm baring in mind the gig didn’t finish till 11. Accessible toilets available however they aren’t locked. Ie radar toilets so it got to the point where the queues were ridiculous when really they’re accessible for a reason

    Pink in concert
Traffic is horrendous trying to leave the concert. We had parked at the college car park. Booked so that was no problem, but when we exited the stadium the streets were all closed heading for the train station. We had a long walk back to the car, the sat in queue for nearly 1.5 hour not moving. The stadium was on different levels, up/down steps etc. luckily a steward let us through an accessibility access as my knees were in bits by that time. H6 Row D had excellent visibility to the stage for a concert especially with 2 8 year olds.

Event was better than the venue but that doesn't mean the venue was bad.
Went for the Pink concert on 29 June 2024. Ok for a football stadium but not a specific music venue. overall, it was a good place to be. Our seats had one of the main speakers/floodlights right in the way of the stage but that the chance you take. It was clean enough and plenty of stewards around. There was an incident just before the main event started and the staff handled it without impacting on the event. I have hip issues and the seats didn't help it much.

    Amazing birthday day out
We went the Hampden park tour on Saturday for our sons 8th birthday, we all extremely enjoyed the tour especially my son who loved getting to look around places his favourite players have been before. Stephen was our tour guide and was 10/10 with the information history and stories he had to tell the group about and gave us time to take photos and have a look around, The museum is fab it has heaps of history and information. Overall a great family day out will be back again:)

    Brilliant tour of the stadium
We went with friends to see the national stadium. Tom was our guide and he was brilliant. He really knew his stuff and was completely engaging throughout, managing to keep the kids (and adults) entertained! A super day out with friends and family. We would highly recommend. Thank you! 😊

Bought Hospitality seats advertised as "Prime View Executive Padded Seats" What we were given was completely different. The worst seats in Hampden Park, need binoculars to see a thing, Upper Tier N3 2 Rows from the back. I can assure you it certainly was not prime view or executive padded seats. You should be aware of the section that you are purchasing, not finding out the day before the concert when the tickets finally arrive. And what your given for hospitality is the cheapest seats that are on sale but for a massive premium.

I only bought the member tickets due to what was advertised for the seats, this was completely false advertising. The actual hospitality section was half empty the whole night.

I spent 2 hours trying to speak to people to sort this out as refused to sit up in the clouds, I would never have bought those seats let alone paid that money for them. We missed the support acts and eventually were offered to go into the standing area but we wouldn’t be able to use any of the hospitality extras we had paid for. This was our only option so I bought hospitality tickets to end up standing at the concert. The staff member was helpful and agreed the seats were terrible.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy the members offer seats for hospitality without first finding out your actual seats.

When you make a complaint its handled by extremely rude managers who have no interest in helping and don't follow there own complaints procedure. And are told there is no one higher in the company to speak with.

Why did Coldplay choose Hampden for their concerts? Admittedly the atmosphere was amazing once Coldplay were on (who gave us an epic show!) but tgey obviously hadn't considered the fans' travel, parking and comfort experience which is almost as important as the show and can help make or break the memories. Websute advice re parking at/near the venue was a disgrace. We were staying south of the city and not on a direct bus or tram route so had to drive as no taxis available. After driving around the streets around the stadium we just joined a queue of cars to see where it took us. After another 30 minutes by which time the first support act had started we spotted a parking sign on the opposite side of the carriageway. This took us into another queue for what turned out to be a dodgy looking warehouse on an industrial estate. Half the vehicles in front of us were turning around and driving off, it turns out because the were demanding £20 and in cash. By then we were desperate for a toilet and I did have cash on me so we grudgingly gave in. Half a mile trek got us to the stadium. Lots of food trucks outside but we weren't sure if they were legit and there was no information on the website. We asked a steward if we could get food inside and were told we could. We were not offered a wristband and once we were 'inside and it did feel like a prison there was one abysmally expensive bar and one 'food' location which offered what I assume is normal match day crap I.e. pies, burgers, hot dogs. We opted for hot dogs ( no chips available) which came in a dry bun with no onions or salad and they had run out of ketchup and mustard. The staff were poorly trained and rude and hygiene was questionable. Luckily our seats were good but we felt sorry for people who were given a restricted view as already mentioned. Seat numbering was awful and the steward was constantly climbing up and down the steps to take people to the correct row and sort out disputes over seats. Ladies' toilets were dreadful, both queues and cleanliness and they quickly ran out of loo roll. Exiting the venue was unbelievable chaos- most people were unfamiliar with the area, everything looked different in the dark and there was of course no signposting to the many 'unofficial' car parks. When we eventually got back to the car there was no marshaling whatsoever. We queued for half an hour with traffic trying to get out to the motorway- if there had been two queues we could have got out of this awful place much sooner. All the people who were happily dancing and waving to each other an hour and a half earlier were now sworn enemies trying to gain advantage in the queues and not let their fellow concert-goer in on any account. We booked our hotel because we thought we could avoid all of this stress but unfortunately the experience clouded our memory of what would otherwise have been a magical experience. Never, ever again will we visit Glasgow or Hampden.

Visited for Coldplay concert which was amazing but the venue, location and stewarding leaves a lot to be desired.
Decided to take the train from Central Station and ended up in a huge queue which did move reasonably quickly once it started moving.
Trying to get to the turnstiles felt like a obstacle course being miss directed by stewards and prevented from using certain stairs.
Once inside the stadium, big queues for drinks and food so didn't bother. Queues for women's toilets were long and there were women waiting in the men's toilets.
Lots of people in the wrong seats around us, not really sure why.
Concert finished at 11pm decided to walk back to city centre rather than face the train queues, and it was very busy until around 1 km from Hampden. We arrived back at our hotel around midnight after a brisk walk.
There isn't much that can be done about the stadium or its location but not sure I will be rushing back for a concert.

First time going to a concert at Hampden and it will be the last. Event organisation at the stadium was nothing short of a shambles.

No signs or instructions from stewards outside to help navigate your way so thousands of people walking back and forward trying to locate the correct entrance.

Glasgow council essentially shut off every street in a 3 mile radius for parking when events are on so the closest you can get is a 20 minute walk away. We even saw the council crane someone's car on to the back of a lorry just for parking on a side street and the parking wardens were out in force.

Inside was a maze which didn't help with random parts being fenced off. Price of a beer / cider was £7.20 which is just getting silly.

I have been to a lot of stadium gigs & Hampden has somehow managed to make the whole process as difficult and user unfriendly as possible.

A dated stadium unfit for modern purpose.

The layout of Hampden for national football games has never been great.

Thought we would try a music concert here.

Dang, what a shambles. 90 minutes to get through security even though we arrived early.

The bars are a joke, people jump the que, que was atleast a 45min wait, I tried it once.

To add insult to injury that charge nearly £7 for a warm beer.

Plus there were zero public transport facilities. All trains front he local station were cancelled, buses not worth trying as people fighting to get on one. Taxis will not pick you up as the area is too contested.

We left the concert early at 10.30pm and were still stood outside the venue at 1am trying to get transport home.

Hampden is not fit for purpose and fails in many ways.

Won't be back.

I have NEVER had such a negative experience in 35 years of attending concerts.

I was refused entry to the ladies toilet at 10.15pm as the toilets were ‘closed’ (Men were using the gents toilets?).

The staff were unable to provide any directions and clearly did not know the venue / local area. The very long wait for one drink was excessive.

The local train station had insufficient trains to transport people back to Glasgow. Option was to walk (3+ miles) or get on a gridlocked bus for 90+ minutes?

I have attended concerts all over the world.
I am ashamed of the quality of venue and transport links in my home City of Glasgow. Hampden, as a venue for a concert, is a national disgrace. I will NEVER be back.

Utter travel chaos. Glasgow City Counsel need to get this sorted out. Look at the various media reports of travel chaos at so many concerts at Hampden over the years. Why has this not been sorted out. Come on Glasgow, you can do better than this shambles.

I had the dubious honour of buying a cup of coffee at a game, now remember mid January in Scotland its cold, but not as cold as the coffee. I was told that they didn't do that and was shown a table that was a mess where the milk was stored.
SFA get a grip of what people want especially on a rain soaked freezing evening.

We went to see Cold Play on Wednesday 24th August at Hampden Park. The band was amazing. However, the facilities were really disappointing and of a very poor standard. I got my foot trapped in the turnstile as it moved forward to let me in. The same happened to the lady who followed me. The whole building is worn out! The ladies toilets were awful, dirty floors blocked toilets and water everywhere- this was was before the show began! The drinks were ridiculously expensive and the wine was actually awful. We never go to that stadium ever again.

Hampdem Park Stadium is a disastrous place for a concert or any other event. The venue is about 3.5 miles from the city centre, and the public transports of any kind, including the poor existing taxis service, Uber etc, are not enough to attend the high demand and the usual webs and apps get collapsed. On the other hand, the municipality of Glasgow, doesn't implement special services to and from the stadium.
As a consequence, to arrive and to leave Hampden Park is a caos and thousands of spectators must walk long distances to attend the event, crossing desolated spots, in a city partitioned by motorways and specially difficult for pedestrians.
A place to forget!!

Coldplay show - venue not fit for purpose. Plenty of mens toilets and not enough for women. Women forced to use the mens toilets as the queues were so long! Then once you got out the toilet queues, the bar queues were massive.

Transportation to this venue is awful, we left 3 songs early … and only just made the last train home to our destination at midnight.

In future, I will not be returning to hampden for a music event, takes all the pleasure out of going to see artists. You sober up because of all the queuing. Main act also comes on about 8:45pm and last orders at the bar are 9:30pm

Time to do some refurbishments hampden
