It's an ugly concrete bridge, but it keeps the traffic flowing (mostly), and Glasgow would grind to a halt without it.
It opened in the early 70's, and it has always seemed to be being repaired for as long as I can remember.
Glasgow is a major headache to traverse from south to north as we travel onwards to Stirling, except that the M8 motorway runs through the centre of the city, so easing the stress of navigating through a major city.

We came to Glasgow by car in the morning from the airport, crossing this bridge.The view was really nice. You can see the River Clyde and the other bridges.
