We arrived early in the morning and there was a heavy mist and this just heightened the mood of this wonderful area , we walked thru the trees and groomed trails and just enjoyed the ourselves and this wonderful park

Plenty of space to walk and visit the area attractions, along with great restaurants and you can take a boat tour as well. Directly off the train!

A visit to Glasgow meant that we simply needed to visit Lock Lomond and savour the beauty of the area. We took a stroll and enjoyed the views. Very few activities were available as it was winter but the weather was fine.

We trained it from Glasgow and enjoyed a nice walk towards the castle and had a great lunch at a hotel that was not far from the train station. From there we took a bus to Luss.

Although we were rained out we were able to walk the grounds and it;s a beautiful spot. Rest facilities are clean snd well maintained Wish we could have taken a boat ride but the fog was too thick

A beautiful area to visit. About an hour from Glasgow. Travel by car or public transport. The Duck Bay Marina is worth a visit. Great food and lovely views.

Much improved tourist attraction since my last visit over 20 years ago! I was quite appalled at the extremely high rates for any watersports, particularly if you're a beginner. I realise that Loch Lomond has a monopoly in the area but surely they would profit...More

Trains every 30 mins connect from Glasgow to Balloch. Journey time about 40 mins. You won't "tour around the loch on foot in a day" as the loch is 22 miles long and about 5 miles wide at the southern end. Depends how... More
