This was an enjoyable trip for us. It was fast and easy .Great prices to get to Edinburgh from Glasgow and we enjoyed every minute of this.

This is a modern glass edifice replacing the old red sandstone station immediately behind which is now a coffee shop. There is entry from 2 opposite sides leading down to a large open concourse from which you access the underground trains running every few minutes. This place is ok if you want to hide away from the elements. Think they need to fill up the empty shops up stairs. Its getting better with the new shops being added. I would watch the floor it does get very slippy

I like this centre but the layout is strange. When you walk in there is an escalator up but if you want back down you have to walk halfway along the mall or wait for the lift. When it is the weekend the lifts are very busy could wait at least 5 mins for lift. Plus i have a wee tot and i find the baby change next to food court annoying. You have to press a buzzer to get in. And there is only one toilet in it. Also no bottle warmer in it just a microwave. I know there is also another baby change next to toilets upstairs but it is also a very small space. I could not use toilet without leaving the door opened as i could not fit buggy in. With that rant over there is a good selection of shops and good play area for kids. Good food court with mcdees. kfc. burger king. And a good chinese. Avoid the rollover hot dog place. Tasteless and dear. …
