This park used to be a great place to visit, however now seems to be overflowed with rubbish and no park attendants to clear overflowing bins or keep gardens tidy. The ice cream van also may provide good ice cream but at extraordinary high prices....More

We went for a walk on a beautiful May weekend with the children. Flowers were in full bloom and the fossilised trees (open only from 12pm! ) were great. It's a nice park, a bit overlooked by the likes of the Botanic Gardens or Pollok...More

Glasgow is lucky to have so many parks and this one has the added advantage of having a grove of fossil trees, many millions of years old and accessible to anyone who wants to see them.

any answer Ii would give would only be a guess. maybe that's the time it is staffed until. maybe during the summer the council should look into extending the hours. if you want to put your points across to the right people... More
