Although this is the best shopping street in Glasgow it does not have much competition. The rest are mostly cheap shops in rundown streets in basically a run down city. This street had good shops is generally clean with buskers and good lighting. The down side is the beggars and the Big Issue mafia that plague locals and I can... More

This is one of the best streets in Glasgow for shopping. It has some of the deer stores and also princess square with good food laces to eat and shop.

Buchanan Street in the heart of Glasgow is one of the greatest city centre streets in Europe if not the world. It is full of wonderful architecture mostly built in blond sandstone, broad, completely pedestrianized and easily accessed with underground stations near each end. Starting at the top stand on the steps of the Royal Concert Hall and look down... More

Very touristy, shopping district. Lots of designer stores, street is always busy, buzzing. Lit up during Christmas. Lots of buskers in the area. If you walk down to Enoch St mall down the road, Glasgow Christmas markets being held here

I recently visited Glasgow and went shopping in Buchanan Street. My son and I found the manga shop where we purchased a set of books he had been looking for, for ages. The Street was welcoming with the festive decorations wide street and plenty of seats to rest a while. The shop windows were decorated soo nicely I took plenty... More

Have lived in Glasgow all of my life and have always loved Buchanan Street. Firstly you have the wonderful departmental store Frasers, although a bit more expensive than other shops is definitely worth visiting. You then have the fantastic Princess Square, with beautiful shops, many fantastic eating places all sorts of variety available not to mention the Whisky shop for... More

Buchanan Street is a pedestrianised street in the centre of Glasgow. It houses some of the best shops in the city and is well worth a visit.

Buchanan Street in Glasgow offers great shopping possibilities. There's lots of entertainment to experience when you pass up and down the street especially during the weekends. The only downside is actually the upside. The street is a massive hill - which sometimes feels more like a small mountain. So you can both shop and get in shape in one go.

Buchanan Street is most definitely worth paying a visit to if tour in and around the city of Glasgow. Plenty of choices of shops to choose from and loads of wee bars and restaurants tucked away down the many alleyways just off Buchanan St. Very easily accessible from Glasgow Central train station, walking distance from the well known St Enochs...
