Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon for a tour. We were originally disappointed as you couldn’t go inside the brewery due to covid but it was so much fun and so interesting! Tony was a great tour guide and I learnt a lot about the history of tennents! Would 100% recommend

Fantastic night with Tony at the rum tasting. Good chat, lots of rum, lots of laughs and he indulged all of our daft questions with sensible and informative answers. Will definitely be back!

I had a great time at Tennents Training Academy Curry Club. Friendly hosting from Paul and Marina combined with expert & witty tuition from Chef Lauren and Declan made for a fun evening. The curry I learned to make tasted delicious and was washed down with complimentary refreshing Tennets lager of course! Highly recommend and would go again :-)

Had a fantastic little night making pastries with my sister.

Light dinner, few drinks and our baking to take home.

Something fun and different.

I’ve been to the cooking class and cocktail class before and really enjoyed them too x

Booked a Morrocan cook lesson for a friend for his 80th and went along with him. Made our way to the Tennents visitor centre and wiated around until everyone on the course turned up (about 15 of us). Then jumped in a mini bus and drove a couple of munites to the classroom. All sit around a big square table and are offered a beer or wine - I asked for a soft drink as I was driving. They had jugs of beer and wine on the table which you could help yourself to (wasn't offered a second soft drink). Given aprons and hats then all huddled round the chef station where he proceeded to tell us what we would be doing and making. Started oss showing us how to make a cake - bit disappointed as not a cake person - had hoped for a starter. The chef made the cake in front of us, explaining all of the steps involved. We then went to our individual work stations where all of the ingerdients were laid out for us. Made the cake and banged it in the oven. Then moved on the the chicken tagine - same process - huddle round to watch the chef then go back and make it ourselves. No instructions/recipe provided on the day - these are sent out by e-mail later. Once all the food was ready everyone sat around the table and ate it - I had had a dinner before I came so took mine away in a container. Nice food and good descriptions by the chef but disappointed that we only made a tagine and a cake.

Went to the curry club and had a fantastic night making bhajis and a curry with chef Lauren, Declan and Paul. Time was taken to explain each of the steps before we cooked our own meal, and we enjoyed a couple of drinks included in the price during the evening. Would definitely recommend and will be returning for a different class in the future.

What an amazing afternoon spent at the Tennents Training Academy as part of Ailise's hen weekend. Paul & Darryl were fantastic hosts. We had great fun making the pizzas following Darryl's instructions whilst Paul kept the jugs of cold beers, fruit cider and wine flowing. A fabulous experience. We never stopped laughing. Thank you Paul & Darryl.

I have now done three cookery classes with my dad: Italian, Mediterranean and latest was Moroccan. The classes surpassed my expectations and I was really impressed with how professionally they are run and the facilities that they have. The food has been delicious and the classes are informative but relaxed. The chefs Paul and Lauren have been engaging and the host Paul very friendly. It is a pleasure to cook and have everything cleared up after you so speedily too by the helpful assistant (can’t remember his name because they joked he was called Paul too!!) no hesitation in recommending
