What an amazing afternoon spent at the Tennents Training Academy as part of Ailise's hen weekend. Paul & Darryl were fantastic hosts. We had great fun making the pizzas following Darryl's instructions whilst Paul kept the jugs of cold beers, fruit cider and wine flowing. A fabulous experience. We never stopped laughing. Thank you Paul & Darryl.

I had a great time at Tennents Training Academy Curry Club. Friendly hosting from Paul and Marina combined with expert & witty tuition from Chef Lauren and Declan made for a fun evening. The curry I learned to make tasted delicious and was washed down with complimentary refreshing Tennets lager of course! Highly recommend and would go again :-)

Had never been to the training academy but wanted to try something new and experience a different night out. Class members had a mix of wine experience so didn't feel out of place having not been to a tasting event.
Informal setting which encouraged class participation and interaction. Interesting selection of wine and generous portions. Nibbles to keep you going and complement the vino. Lynn who took the class was funny, knowledgable and knew her stuff. Overall an enjoyable evening and will definitely book up for another academy event!

Was at a training day here and was very impressed with layout, organisation and overall day training. Lynn was a great trainer and made what could have been a boring day into a fun day. Will be taking more training days here.

My son bought me a voucher for the taste of Brazil cookery course which I used the other night and I had a really fantastic time. From start to finish the whole evening was impeccably organised and the other budding chefs on the course were really lovely and we all intermingled really well, no doubt helped by the alcohol that was supplied during the evening and which I might add was replenished regularly.
When we arrived we were offered a complimentary beer in the reception lounge and we were then driven the short journey to the kitchen to start our hard work. There was a large table set up with plates and cutlery and the chef Sarah who was brilliant the whole evening, explained clearly what we were going to cook, and just at that point our caipirinha arrived, a good start to the evening. There were pitchers of beer, cider and I think soft drink in the middle of our table and we just helped ourselves. There were also a couple of bottles of chilled prosecco which had been supplied by a party of eight from the Clydesdale bank.
The kitchen itself was modern and very well equipped with everything you needed. All the ingredients were laid out individually for everyone and an added bonus was that after you had a cooked a dish and taken it to the table to eat, the dirty bowls, chopping boards, cutlery etc had all been cleaned for you. Sarah explained everything clearly and simply and answered any questions that were asked. We cooked a starter, main and dessert and they were all lovely and simple to make.
All in all a really enjoyable night and I can't wait to go back and try another course. I have been on quite a few cooking courses in the past and I have to say that this has been the best. If you like cooking and having fun at the same time you must try the Cook School who have a full range of different courses available.

I never knew Wellpark Tennents brewery did a whole host of cookery classes. We arrived and got a free complimentary drink and waited for our class to check in. 11 of us loads as Christmas presents were enrolled for the pizza making class. Stephanie checked us in and drove us up to the training academy. A well appointed areas with all the latest mod cons. They do a whole range of classes and hospitality courses. The kitchens were fab as was the wine tasting area we could see. We were on the pizza making class and Kenny was our chef. A lovely man cheeky and very helpful. We made the dough and hand stretched then topped and cooked. Free lager and cider throughout with wine with the meal. Any leftovers ( no chance with my hubby) can be boxed and taken home. I was very happy with my effort and would recommend to all. A fun night and you ate what you made.

After another fantastic day at Tennent's Training Academy, I would like to thank everyone for making the BIIAB Award in Wine an enjoyable experience the other day. A special thanks to Lynn who gave us all the knowledge we needed for our assessment at the end of the day - she was very informative and made the day an enjoyable one.
Many thanks again to all the team for a great day!

Our evening at the training academy for the cookery & cocktail class was excellent from start to finish. Our chef Don & Jamie who did our cocktail class looked after us brilliantly. Great fun and would thoroughly recommend it.

Went here for a Sunday afternoon tour. Good group size of 10 or so, and our tour guide Marco was very informative and kept our attention throughout.
Beer tasting at the end was good, a pint of T and some samples of other beers which aren't commonly sold in Scotland. I highly recommend this tour to beer lovers.
