Tollcross Park is the main park for the East End of Glasgow (if you leave out Glasgow Green.) This is where the European Championships swimming is taking place. But it is also the home of Glasgow's main rose collection. Good too for walking, jogging, relaxing.

We had a great day. Animals in the zoo were great. The Park was peaceful and beautiful with all the roses. This really is the place for rose fans

My daughter enjoyed walking around the children’s farm and seeing the animals. She especially loved the ponies! 😀 a cute little area to walk around and the visitors centre was also well resourced.

Took our little one here to see the animals - who knew there was an animal farm pretty much on our doorstep! There's not a lot of animals (small ponies, lots and lots of chickens/hens, ducks, birds, goats, rabbits, and a lazy pig!), but considering...More

The park is opened but the little animal zoo is only opened from around 10am to 3pm most days but I'm not positive of exact times. There may be a website you could check on. Enjoy.
