The first meeting at Ibrox , as officially Rangers Stadium , took place on December 30, 1899. The Rangers facility has a capacity of 50,817 spectators, and is the 13th largest stadium in the UK and the 3rd largest in Scotland. A must see for anybody interested in football, architecture or social history. The main stand, which has listed status and was built in 1929, remains one of the wonders of football. The trophy room is a delight and is a treasure trove of footballing history. Our guide was friendly and engaging and delivered all the information with a light touch. A must for any football fan. There is no where in World football where you will see anything like the mainstand. Its like a Palace to football. From the marble staircase and rich wood paneling to the trophy room which oozes history.

Nice looking stadium, however I reccomend driving past. I would not reccomend getting out of the car as the area can be very hostile and unsafe.
